God, the colour of the sweet potato's is quite dull, in Ireland and the U.K. they are bright orange, almost like a pumpkin.

@jakatak69 so, i've been looking around on the internet, seems like the sweet potatoes actually are the orange ones, and yams are the yellowish, here in sweden, we have the "sötpotatis" wich directly translates to sweet potatoes and they are orange, im really confused :S

We make a different type of sweet potato on Thanksgiving.We put them in the oven with piloncillos and when u take them out they're very sweet and you can even eat them in a bowl with milk just like cereal...or like oatmeal. :)

Your crazy. Ironically I loved them. When I was a kid my mom made me eat Yams. I HATE YAMS. THE ARE NASTY TASTING. Then someone told me as a kid that sweet potatoes are just like yams. So I never ate sweet potatoes my whole life until this vide. I swear. True story. I was blown away on how they DON"T taste anything like yams. They taste like potatoes with butter already on them. It was awesome.

Ironically, the yams you were forced to eat as a child were most likely sweet potatoes, too. Calling them yams was a marketing ploy; years ago one company started labeling their sweet potatoes "Georgia Yams," and although actual yams are pretty much unavailable in US markets, that started the myth that they were, and people saying things like "The darker ones are yams..." and so on. They are ALL sweet potatoes.

Watching this episode, I noticed there was a part that had no sound, and it got me thinking: maybe Jack could look for some royalty-free music to have constantly playing low in the background. It would give it a certain edge, I think.

Nooo, I know me along with anyone who has any form of hearing impairment would beg to differ. Whenever shows have music in the background I have troubles hearing what the people are saying. The no music is much preferred.
