It's...interesting. There were some flaws but I don't think it was that bad.

Not being entirely versed in Marvel I gotta ask, were these kids of the Avengers real characters from the comics, or were they created specifically for this? And if they were, were they adopted into the actual comics?

As far as I understand it, the son of Captain America eventually goes nuts and becomes a powerful time-travelling villain, who is really the cause of his own birth in the first place, as well as him becoming a new avenger. He quickly becomes the main bad guy for the new avengers, up until his younger self figures everything out, at which point some stuff happens wherein he stops himself from being born. So, time-wipe.

@TheCelticTiger32 The answer to question 1 is that Thor didn't die, he went off to Asgard to rule when his father died, and the girl's mother is not Jane Foster but Sif, a Norse goddess that is also in the Marvel Universe.

Question 2, yeah, some of the trailers mention Storm, but not all. And part 3, Ultron does rule this world, he is also the one who killed all the avengers (except for Thor, Hulk, and Iron Man).

Have the movie and when looked at on its own and not compared to anything in comic as it should be its not bad. I like storyline they made with it. My only minor issue was name they gave Thor's daughter. Norse mythology Thor did have a daughter with Sif but her name was Thrud not Torunn. Nothing to throw a fit over though. Guessing they didn't like sound of her name and changed it.
