  • Good man.

  • Yup ... he is the kind of guy who makes your heart beat faster because in every sentence he would be voicing your inner thoughts as if he were reading them. He would be putting his fingers on the sore spots like some medieval learned egyptian physician without any contraceptive ... perfect recipes of a true leader. He can clear a lot of mess not just in america but in the whole of world. If I were american ... I would vote for him without giving it a second thought.

  • Let me preface my comment by saying that my intention is to not get into a heated argument of any kind. With that said, Dr. Paul's view of there being a Creator that has given every human unalienable rights, has lead him to the position he takes. All of the well known leaders who have fought against tyranny and oppression throughout history, have had this view in some form or fashion. I think it's something worth looking into, apart from how man tries to warp God into his own image and religion.

  • I agree. I'd rather support him than a non-religious/agnostic/atheist (which is what I am) who doesn't raise questions about the Fed, what we're doing in the Middle East, and whether we have enough money to spend.

  • it's about bleeding our country financially while private companies make all the profit's. The banker's own this country. They own it all.

  • Ron Paul is right, while I do support the Afghan war I do think its time they tell us why we are there.

If its for AL qaeda we know where they are and could end it any time.

If its for nation rebuilding then forget it I want no part of it.

  • we followed the french into vietnam that was disasterous now we are following the russians into afghanistan and that is also going to be disasterous it seems we just dont learn very well

  • history repeats itself unfortunately

  • Great example of rational thinking, as always. What can we do teach such thinking to the Obama administration? Send them back to college? No way, that is where they all come from--socialist nests of tenured union members or worse, Marxist revolutionaries in the disguise of caps and gowns. Let's serve them some tea...

  • Words can't really describe how great Ron Paul is.

  • I think it is time to prosecute criminals (aka Dubya, Dickie, Perle, and Wolfowitz) who dragged America into the illegal wars and war profiteers (aka Feinstein/Blum duo etc) that corrupted the government and nailed a final nail into the coffin of our republic.

  • It wasn't illegal when we went into Afganistan... under the constitution the President has the athourity to start a Millitary Operation... after 3 months the congress must vote to Declare a WAR.... the illegal part comes in when the congress votes to appropriate Funds to the extended operation, in other words, a vote to CONTINUE the OPERATION instead of declaring it a war...

  • wow.. I did not know that. Thanks for educating me :)

  • I don't recall any provision in the Constitution that allows the president to start a "military operation" and continue it for three months without a congressional declaration of war. Can you point out the article and section?

  • ehhh only if we are invaded or have insurrection, but that's what the president used to semi justify afghanistan, but the congress did authorize that, not so much iraq

  • the patriot act gave the president the power to do so

  • @ffrank345 Your right to a degree. I don't deny that what you say (to a degree) is incorrect that is indeed what the constitution says. I can personally point the provision minnesotachris. However this presidential power is limited to our defense. This provision doesn't give the president the power to start a war only the congress can do this. for example: The invasion of Iraq was unconstitutional. A invasion of another country is an act of war and not defense. The Afghan war was declared.

  • He's the man. as always he seems the only sane voice in washington.

  • Well said Grimtick. I can't understand why more people don't pay attention to Dr. Paul. I was a bit disappointed that he doesn't believe in evolution, but I'd still vote for the guy(if I was American). He's bang on when it comes to foreign policy, the economy, the drug war, etc.

  • He doesn't? Man, I had no idea. I have to say that IS disappointing.

  • Yeah, sadly he doesn't believe in evolution. A Ron Paul hater told me, so I looked it up for myself. Even so, if there ever was a man who could put aside his religious beliefs in order to properly serve the country, it'd be Ron Paul. I'd vote for him in a heartbeat(if i was American). Jesse Ventura is another guy that could be trusted to serve for the people, and not just special interest groups/lobbyists/corporations. I'd take him or Dr. Paul over a career politician any day of the week!

  • Well said. The beauty of the limited government movement is that we all understand that we are a diverse group of people (religious and otherwise). Whenever the "haters" accuse us of being in lockstep they show a profound misunderstanding of this grassroots movement. Even coalitions of like-minded people are going to have (sometimes serious) disagreements. But we all agree that there has been too much centralization of power and that is an unhealthy thing.

  • You're absolutely right. It only took about a couple of minutes to "sleep on it" but I'd absolutely support him over someone else. I just saw Rally for the Republic and in his opening he talked about how his campaign got donations from all religious spectrums including atheists and non-believers. Ron Paul accepts agnostics like me, I accept him and his creationist beliefs wholeheartedly.

  • Certainly beats a non-religious politician who supports corporatism. When I said that him not believing in evolution is disappointed, it was a gut reaction because it was my first time hearing about it.
