I live in California... in California they sell nutriberries at a lot of petstores that carry bird stuff. You can also buy it online. Just Google "nutriberries" :)

my birds are scared went i put my hands in side the cage what can i do to help them i want them not to be scared of me i have 2 lovebirds they are Lucy and Scobbyi want then to have fun not to be scared

my birds used to be absolutely terrified when I put my hands near them too x_x

I just always offered treats (such as pieces of millets or nutriberries) when I went near their cage so they would associate me with something good :)

I believe he was clipped when I was taming him. But during the first few weeks after I got him, I only let him out of his cage in a small area (like a bathroom) so it was easier to get him back into his cage.

I use crushed "nutri-berries" as treats. My little Lychee actually used to be TERRIFIED of hands and used to nip & bite all the time. I was just very patient and always offered him treats to let him know that "hands=treats=good!" In the beginning he didnt even want to get near my hands so I just put the treats a few feet away from my hands and slowly moved it closer to me.

what kind of treats did you give him? My lovebird is so aggressive.. he just wants to bit off my fingers..what should i do?
