It's not about Black/White, Cop/Criminal, right/wrong. It's about the inevitable. Energy begets energy, and since we're all connected, the innocent pay sometimes. Sad. Its about the bigger lesson. The police have a hard job, and not all of them are equipped to do it. Cops need better psychological counseling and screening because the power the courts give cops has lead to endemic abuse. We pay them tax dollars, they DO have a responsibility to quell their corruption. If not, this happens.

Lovell Mixon was NOT thinking about Oscar Grant, he was only thinking about how he could stay out of prison for as long as possible, because he KNEW he was a criminal, he KNEW he deserved to get locked up, but he wanted to be a "gangsta" and try to shoot his way out of it. He had an assault weapon in his home for a reason. He carried a firearm with him in his vehicle for a reason. He knew he was eventually going to get caught, and he knew he wanted to kill any cop in his way.
