If you can't reach joy, go for what grants relief (even if that's hate, then anger, disappointment...etc...look up the Abraham Hicks vibrational scale for a more detailed explanation) until you are consistently at that level - and then the symbols you use reflect on the micro and macro levels your inner truth, and others will see that as clear and evident!

Great insight into symbols. Words can mean so many things. Together they symbolize lies or truths. It isn't the words themselves. It is those motives behind the words and those who listen to the words. Words don't kill people. People kill people. :). But we don't communicate this right now without them. The key is to use words to solely depict an integrated inner experience of the best of all you've ever been : pure joy - and only that. Anything less is hubris. :)

@suddenlyitsobvious The way around this is simple. The natural human desire, from birth, is to LEARN about everything in the world, hungrily, individually, and selfishly. It can never be fully lost - there's nothing enforcing itself on you outside of the present moment. I feel I've retained a inner locus of control over my life when it comes to that and so held onto it stronger than most - I get a huge kick out of blue-sky ideas, science fiction, wild creativity...and so can you!

To think that semantic manipulation and deception and indoctrination are the bulk of what constitutes social conditioning is a delusion, it's merely the tip of the iceberg.The REAL conditioning starts before we even understand words, in the cradle, born of parents considering themselves 'human resources' working for the economy, whose task it is to make a 'well-adjusted' member of society out of their kids.

Sure, words are used all throughout this process, but the stifling of human qualities...

@suddenlyitsobvious For me it's simple. Thought is 'God the father', transmitted through words, into actions which create physical reality. The same physical reality that babies react off in the womb, that toddlers react to through parental conditioning transmitted through words. Even if this can't be proven, it's what I choose to believe as empowering, that my words define ALL my life experience - and not the words of my parents. If you choose to see me as frantic/ADD/damaged, that's your call.

@Scratch47 I might add that the emotional energy behind language forms the basis for our entire motivational system and abstract sensory experience, and can be sensed in the body right now. I repeat - nothing asserts itself in your experience outside of the present moment, without your emotional and mental volition. To believe anything less is to ultimately render yourself powerless anyway, so what's the point of going down THAT road?

AGAIN, you simply state it's a 'belief'. If one desires experiencing truth and oneself and be honest with reality, one cannot simply choose to believe something demonstrably false, simply because one is used to the belief, or finds it convenient, or can't be bothered to look any further.

Words aren't the ONLY conveyer of emotional energy or consciousness - sorry if I didn't express that, sometimes I need to double check over what I say, and there is a character limit - but they are the prime cause of effect and create all our physical reality over time IMO. That's my choice of belief, just because it's fun. I hate to induce the Bible here as it's hardly trustworthy, but, 'in the beginning was the word.'

It is a simple fact of life that consciousness and emotions aren't EXCLUSIVELY transmitted through words. One can't build a creative psyche and attitude in life if one completely discards simple facts using the slogan that it's a 'personal belief(, meaning some kind of religious dogma excluding and aborting insight and truth.

But they do to intention, yes - intention shaped over time through the mind of the adult, who uses verbal language and thought as both the emotional conveyor and mental conveyor of the adult's belief system and connected meanings, to express this intention (whether said belief system is positive and emotionally/physically integrative to reality, or negative and denial/fear based).

A few more helpful things floating around in my mind at the moment - marriage was a construct created when early nomad man settled down on arable land with his harems and, realising it was something to lose, started calling it his own. Recently I've been doing lots of work with EFT , the Sedona method, chakras, and the 'radical honesty' philosophy, over a list of all the emotional wounds I could think of, and the power of those four in conjunction is UNBELIEVABLE as a daily practice. I come across pretty hard in this video, sure, but I'm trying to get across the point that you are not the words you have learned, and not a product of the system that's built on words. It doesn't mean you go out of your way to alienate others - it means you fully claim yourself and your own feelings for perhaps the first time ever.
