I just did this exact "technique" for the past 30-45 mins. I have over 260 alien blaster ammo.

If you find a big group of caravaners, single one out, stand infront of them as best you can, your tryn to slow that one person down so he's away from the group(no help) then do exactly as shown in this Vid.

Thanks to whoever posted thus. It's making the blaster a fun weapon knowing your ammo ain't limited(which is stupid, should have been like 10 MF cells to make 1 ammo, or somthn like that)

1. Yes this still works i literally just tried it.

2. A better place would be against freeside thugs. They only have melee so you can just drop the blaster and 1 cell and bam. You got alien blaster ammo without having to pickpocket + thugs always respawn.

@Jordynator28 First, you have to meet Mick and Ralph in their store and talk to them about the Omertas not buying, and you will get the note about it. Then, during the story for whatever faction, you have to meet the Omertas and do their quest. (their quest can probably be done without the story, but idk.) Once the quest is done with Cachino, go back to Mick and Ralph. The one not sitting at the cash register will give you the Pimp Boy 3000 for your efforts. Hope that helped.

HEY LISTEN UP PEOPLE ILL TELL YOU THE REAL GLITCH AND IT WORKS FOR MINI NUKES TOO ,THUMB ME UP SO PEOPLE COULD SEE:

1.go to anyone that has a gun (virmint rifles and cowboy shotguns dont work)

2.get into combat with them and kill them(not with the alien blaster couse you waste its ammo)

3.equip the alien blaster and check there inventory (make sure the gun they were using is not equiped to them) get the gun ,its ammo ,and the bullet case only!

energy guns work WAY better. trust me its fast

My Pip-Boy was changed to the Pimp-Boy 3 Billion and you can get it from Mick at Mick and Ralph's by asking Mick "how's business?" then do the quest How Little We Know in the Gommorah casino by either siding with Cachino and free Troike from his contract or by joining Big Sal and convince him to buy guns from Mick again. After that just talk to Mick and tell they'll buy guns from him again and he'll give it to you.

The rifle you can find is all over the DLC Dead Money.

That shouldn't happen. If you're inside the vault you're supposed to lift the lockdown using the left security terminal, then use the monitor in the back to look up the word 'Vera' (NOTE: Do NOT look up 'personal accounts' that'll cause a game over. After that the rest should be simple.

If you have the "Jury Rigging" perk you can repair it with basically any energy pistol. If you don't have that perk you can just use weapon repair kits.

You can also do this with Jackal and Viper raiders or fiends only armed with melee weapons if you do not have enough Sneak skill.
