  • @Lavourah Because you lied about this video, I will never visit your blog!

  • How NOT to Ride a Road Bike ( parallel to the ground )

  • The silly boy meant to say, to ride a road bike get on it, pedal, use brake levers to stop or slow down and gear shifters to shift gears. Job done and thanks again expertvillage for wasting my time!

  • @Mad1rishMan hey ! should i get MTB or road bike ? cause. most of the time. i'll ride it on the road. but sometimes i wana get on the grass at the park . so. should i get a road bike or mtb ?

  • @nightubble don't get either!

  • @nightubble Get a MTB and put road tires on it. But if you want speed forget about riding on the grass, just get a road bike.

  • @nightubble

sounds like you may want to look into cyclecross. google it or something.

  • @nightubble Go with Hybrid.

  • hes doing that wrong, leg is to bent, he will get bad knees!

  • expertvillage sucks so bad.

  • You know this guy's a bike mechanic when he's got his cap on backwards.

  • For and aft saddle position missed the point.

The knee cap should be inline with the peddle axle in the 3 oclock - 9 oclock crank position.

  • the tricky aspect of learning from amateur video. regarding seat height, he is correct, 25-30 from low 6oclock. I have seen that range from sports medicine sights and heard those numbers again and again the lbs. HOWEVER, this video shows a bend that looks like 45. in his defense, he might be using the bike for illustration but not as precise as one would hope using video, i.e., it is not his ride setup for him. so, take the video more for what he says than how it looks.

  • i agree totally...thats going to tear up the patella and then the inner workings of the knee i have a slight bend in my knee...there is no magic formula because we are all differnt..but i dont see how he can ride with a saddle like that...my quads would cramp up immdiantly

  • @sprintbass lol , that's one of the reasons you wear cyclingshorts

  • that is WAYYYYYY to much bend in your knee!

  • 1000% agreed

  • i don't know a whole lot about biking but how much bend in the knees is too much?? thanks for the info

  • your knee should be almost straight when the foot is at the bottom of the crankset. Just a little tiny bit of bend will do it

  • zulonz: thanks for the info!!!

  • purple pidgeons rulez

  • thank you.
