  • And what if here in laredo tx its 115 degrees outside, as hot as the desert, do we still have to have the car on? or can we just park it in the sun? Because over here the vehicles get soooo hot that the windows and doors really burn you if you touch it, and naturally by the super hot sun!

  • great info&video dude

  • Nice!

  • worked like a charm. took me about 45 minutes on a regular sunny day in san diego, ca. no glue or any residue left behind. even had the tint rip on me 3 times, but i still got it all off clean. i didnt use a razor blade. i just pick the edge of the tint film with my finger nail and started peeling from there. now its time for me to go make some side money. thanks again!

  • how do you scrape glue from the back window (razor would destroy the defrost)

  • Did u say windex to have wat? Umunia???

  • if some glue remains on the back window can u do the same cleaning method with the razor blade and windex without damaging the defroster? or do you have another method of cleaning leftover glue? thanks for posting very helpful video btw!

  • what is the law for tinting cars in usa??

in DK you can tint rear side windows and the back as dark as you want to as long as you have 2 side mirrors but never the front side or front window.....that's a 100$ fine, plus the car are getting called in to be checked at the vehicle inspection place...that's more than 50$......plus what else they can find to annoy you with....

  • use brake parts cleaner to get the sticky stuff off.

  • how to you tint the rear window or heat shrink it if you cant use a heat gun inside?

  • what is the garbage bag for ??

  • You could also instead use a heat gun and get the glass really hot by heating the outhside of the glass real good then remove the film on the inside

  • does removing the back window tint destroy the rear defrost?

  • @danny09876543211 Not usually.

  • thanks 4 sharing dude!!!

  • is it good idea to heat up the glass with heat gun?

  • @mehrshadvr4 P Only from the outside. Be careful. Don't overheat.

  • Something I do whenever theres no sun and its not as powerful as a heat gun, use a hair drier. Works pretty good.

  • wow dam its that easy and im gettin the windows retinted on my car because it turned purple and the guy thats doing it wants to charge me 275$ to remove the old tint and put new tint on if i take it off myself he will only charge 150$

  • my 2 layer driver side tint took me forever because it was so old.

  • Great Job and Great Tutorial. Your tips really helped me out, good luck with your business.

  • Great job and great tutorial, just removed my 13% tint and replaced it with 35%, but first taking pictures to send to court. Thanks for the tips and goodluck with your business

  • Yes! Thank you! I moved from Las Vegas to WA and just removed my front sides using this technique. The trick is definitely in the ammonia window cleaner and the heat. Worked like a charm with very little left over glue which easily came off. This is definitely the way to do it!

  • If you need to remove tint on a rainy day, all you need is 15 minutes of working your heat gun around the outside of the window you are stripping after you spray it down and cover it with a garbage bag. One thing he didnt mention is that the garbage bag keeps the window cleaner from drying up. It is kind of like you are steaming your window. I have been tinting for 19 years and using this trick for at least 10. You are better off covering the side windows with plastic as well.

  • Excellent and informative, Moved to DE from FL and failed inspection due to Driver & Passenger window tint. Took your advice with some Modification. I used a Heat gun outside the windows to simulate a scorching summer heat. Everything was dead on with r razor blades, Windex and glue etc. TAKE YOUR TIME peeling, esp near window frame and doors. This Tutorial helped me 100%

  • best vid, others just f---ing USELESS ....YOU'RE THE MAN!!!!!!...thanks man.

  • umm you rock, you make it seem soo much easier than the other tutorials...i'm going to tackle my windows tomorrow.

  • What about using a hair dryer to help

  • Thats ok too. Never use a heat gun inside a car though.

  • nice so u do this out of your house. thats cool.. how much do you charge to take tints off and to put them on
