I WENT ON THAT at first i was like WTF then i saw the tubes i was like HOLY CRAP!

At the start how that little sudden drop woith water splashes on you.

i went on that ride and my brother he was 8 at the time and he shat himnself! xD OH and if you go on the ride you see this cam and you do random shtuff on it and i know someone who works there and he let us se the vid of me laughing at my brother shitting himself FUN!!!!!!!!!

omg i just came back from the gold coast and i went on this ride it was so coo but they don;t have the fire any more and they have changed a bit from a couple of years ago well thats what my parents think from when they went a long time ago lolz !!!!!!!

What, The effects were cool about 7 years ago, But they got old and stared to fall apart. They had to replace the Fire at the end with crappy lights because of safety reasons. But it isn't the same. Maybe if they maintained the ride effects better it would of lasted the years but it just hasn't. The ending is ready dull now because you don't feel the heat of the fire or think your actually in trouble. Just no the same.

I remember that! The fire and the fake aliens used to scare the shit out of me (i was about 4) and i used to hide behind my mom. I absolutely hated but i was forced to go on. haha. I wish they didn't change it. :( I haven't been back there since but without the cool effects it wouldn't be the same.

Where do u live in Australia, because I live in Ipswich, so I'm kind of lucky cause it's only an hour away from the Gold Coast. I was born in Queensland, but in 2000 me and my family moved to Melbourne, then i missed going to the theme parks, but now we moved back to Ipswich, so i can go anytime I want, next month I'm going to wet n wild for my bday

Hey if you've been on Mammoth Falls at Wet N Wild, do NOT let them overcrowd the raft. Once me my bro and my dad went, and we got put in with 3 randoms, and we nearly went over the side because the raft was that heavy.

i went here 2 yrs in a row for school trips it was only ment to be for grade 2 but i went in grade 1 as well cuz i was in a class with grade 1 and 2 then when i was in grade 2 i went again when i was in a class with grade 2 and 3 i love the bermuda triangle!!!!!

I spose it all depends on where in the boat you sit. I always try to get up the front, where I get wet at the first drop (when you first enter) and definitely at the last drop.

It all depends on the weight of your boat also. If you have people that weigh less, the boat wont hit the water as hard, therefore you stay relatively dry.

nope i went on it today no fire at all but it still makes the sound when fire comes out of top but no fire i was so sad

yeah there used to be fire inside at the end and blowing out the top. now there is painted on 'lava' outside and a sound effect, and inside is a pissy red neon swirl thing. my guess is they got rid of all the fire effects after wild west falls caught fire at movie world. that used to have cool fire effects as well..

I never went on wild west when there was fire. I was too scared when i was young. Do you remember where the fire effects were? Was it at the end when the "Mine shaft is 'bout to blow sky high!"

@nintendo90s i dont think so - when jet rescue was constructed they hit a gas line which fed the fire and smoke to the ride and the gas line wasn't replaced.

Yeah no doubt. I sh*t myself when I went on it when I was about 3, then I went on it again when I was 6. The fire used to scare the hell out of me.

I rode it just this year and I swear they have altered the end drop because I remember it being pretty steep.

I compared the two photos (One from 2008, one from the 90s) and the drop was way steeper back then than it is now.
