You idiots its not heat.... the method he use only work when your finger touch the aluminum foil. touch the aluminum foil and get a good surface area of contact with the screen then it will work. ipod and iphone screan uses electrical capacitance now use ur brain to think why only works when finger touch thealuminum foil.
