Honestly nothing special to hit the quick double bass, I use a modded pedal using a real pedal and a practice pad, so I use the rebound from the first hit and basically catch the pedal on the way up, to hit again very fast. I know a lot of people use heel toe for that, or "slide" where you do the first hit at the bottom of the pedal then slide your foot to the top to hit again, but it's not as hard to hit as it looks.
