Drive fast, turn left twice, how damn hard can that be? According to this event, a european formula one race, like Monaco would last for what, 7 minutes, by when all cars will have crashed. Americans, driver ed, figures. Anyway, good show though.

@drsteverey At least in IndyCar there is racing the whole race. In F1, after the first turn, it is simply follow the leader for the remainder of the race. BORING!! That is why we love Indy and Nascar and were glad to see F1 split the country again.

There is a lot of strategy involved in Formula 1. There are ideal overtaking corners which constantly you will see overtaking happen especially with the KERS and DRS systems involved and MOST especially the high wear Pirelli tyres. It is most definitely more exciting in F12011 compared to IRL

However, one can only wonder more about F1 when you mention the brand of tires they run on in order to explain why it is more exciting. Let's face it. Indy has something that F1 does not have and never will. "The Greatest Spectical In Racing". Better known as The Indianapolis 500. Which by the way is run on a flat oval!

@319hangman I agree with this and im an F1 fan. It has gotten better though. For example in the Chinese Grand Prix, Mark Weber fought his way from 18th to 3rd. Thats a hell of a piece of driving.

Ryan Hunter Ray just did not race well. Spin off the start and then turns low right into the side of the 19 car later in the race. Pretty amateur move.

I was there after turn 4 and there was 26 cars on the track 1st problem then a lot of newbes and in the pre race some oil got on the track the officials wanted turn 4 to 1 cleaned before the Indy race started but if you look at the first lap under green they didn't get it all last with 26 cars there's more marbles

They don't say it on TV but the safer barrier usually has to be repaired when it takes a hard hit.
