Why is it that you can put together members of four incredible bands and they turn out crap like this? Aside from the fact that these lyrics rhyme, they could easily be written by Taylor Swift. They're completely vapid. What I liked about the original was that the "polish" distracted me from the lyrics themselves. Here, they're showcased and they are so clearly mediocre.

Not a bad version of the song at all. John is a fine vocalist and I agree with 'trevor001' that "Arena" and "Aura" were the best of his stuff with Downes. Hope John gets some new, original material out soon!

John Payne still did some good things with Downes (Arena and Aura).
