  • i wish there is a public clamor to have the old joker arroyo back..the man whose principles cannot be bought..who even risked his own life to fight for the truth..why is he on the side of a corrupt official like villar?senator joker..u were my idol when i was a child because my father talked highly of you..pls be the man you used to be..the upright and brave man we once knew!we still love you though..but pls..we want the old you back!

  • joker keeps making jokes. he

's a joker. i am toking about the joker in the batman joker. TEE HEE. ^_^

  • @gearzone2611: I apologize if I have to backpedal my previous comments, I looked this up and I found out that government programs ARE social programs after all. The reason is that when government lifts a finger to help the majority (meaning us, the people), then it has become a SOCIAL OBLIGATION. And the reason why I said some freedoms, I mean the freedoms that some present social programs, agencies and what not that the government has hold onto, like education and medical. Just an FYI.

Like government should issue a sound money, ito ang free-interest money. Para walang national debts or anong debts sa government. Any agencies that does not protect & secure personal rights. Obviously we dont need that. When an elements forced somebody to help poor/unfornate people, this is Socialism. Socialism does not protect your rights nor preserve your very own personal interest. Kaya nga from socialism to communism!

  • Any agency or department which upholds the rights of others, follow the rule of law but in the same time does not interfere with the lifestyle of its citizens are the signatures of a Republican Government. Any agency that dictates the people what to do and-or stepping in to interfere are the hallmarks of Socialism. That's the difference. Government programs may work, but they are still a social obligation to the people. It's not communist, but it's still a form of control.

  • Exactly! Marami na akong nabalitaang masaalimuot between Philippine government at ang centralized power ng Chinese government through means of decree by both sides. Like ZTE, Spratleys, Northrailways, an alike. As I know for the fact, alam ng Chinese government if they could lend enough money sa corrupt na gov./presidents. Yan ang stepping stone nila to enslaves the Philippine from them..

Example: Look at our president, nilalambing niya ang mga American Democrats. Bakit nakiki-chika siya kay Hilary Clinton? But that's MY conspiracy theory. :-P

It is not my theory my friend. At alam nila they cant pay their borrowed money sa IMF&WorldBank.

  • Heh, they are establishing a new world order, starting with those countries who cant pay. Just like the European nations with one monetary system.

  • Ewan ko lang. Though your theory sounds possible, you really need a lot of evidence to prove that noting of it is hearsay. Then again, in the past: Pres. Arroyo have pardoned Erap in surprise of the people. Akala ko he will be put away for a long time, but I realized na activist siya and have the same ideals like Arroyo. Socialists looks after their own. The activists from the past are really the ones mismanaging this country.

  • It is not my theory. It is conspiracy! At saka its not only socialism working here. Obviously if you live in a free-society you would not having a problem of corruption, fractional banking, taxation, individual rights, but as I am saying if more people might wake up & realize it. They will be a revolution early morning. Thats why theres universal ID cards, controlled media, milit.complx

  • Come to think of it, the national ID is a form of control. Good thing you brought that up.

  • You know if it's a conspiracy, or a secret something that it's illegal, you have to have some proof or exposé about it. Otherwise it's only just hearsay. But yeah, the signs are everywhere. I don't have to guess we are living in hell already.

  • Marami akong mailahad sayo. But I cant tell you everything. Ang word na illegal is not an exact word to defined them. They are shaping a new paradigm. No, signs are long gone past na. Nandito na sila. Ang only signs na people might realize if people can figure it out na, it is time to wake up. Think of EU? UN? & many other entities na ang plano is to diminish national boundaries of every nations. Centralized banks are one of the manifesto of this world governance. Kaya they dont like competition

  • Naku! New world order! Hell on Earth na yan! Ito yung sinasabi ni God kay Pilate before he was nailed to the cross "My Kingdom is not on this world...", dahil dito he was crucified in favor of the thief and muderer. He's killed under democracy obviously (or by mob/majority rule if you wanna call that). There will be no competition or free will if this happens kasi everything will all be dictated by a few people. :-/

  • Make that: everything will be dictated in a government that does not run under the "rule of law".

  • It was Jesus Christ forgiveness(shedding his blood) for their sins(theif/murderer). It is run by a few dominant men but ruled by the majority under by a disguise of democracy. Which is democracy is much more dangerous if you think of it. Diko alam, bakit walang politicians opposing it? Meron ba silang understanding of personal liberty or talamak ang mangmang na politicians sa Pinas? Its time to revolt against the instrusiveness!

  • Hmm, if you revolt naman, you might invite anarchy naman. Sa akin lang ito. Kasi nangyari na yan nuong si Erap was proclaimed guilty. And the poor revolted against the government. Hindi ba nila na gets na these politicians are just using them for their votes? In a way, they are being invited by politicians to move over here, instead of working it out in their provinces. Kaya eto sila: squatters.

Kaya people from provinces moving to Manila kasi easy to get a jobs, at they get transportation at opportunities. Kaya may squatters!

  • Revolt brings Anarchy. As the Greeks put it, Anarchy means: No Government. Anarchy brings the mob into the picture. Look at the French Revolution. Read the book called A Tale of Two Cities or Doctor Zhivago. Kahit fiction sila they bring to light what Anarchy and mob justice brought into society. If you are asking for a revolt, you may be asking more what you bargain for. Edsa failed on that. Do we want another one?

  • Naintindihan ko ang sinasabi mo. Of course why we need anarchy? Ang sinasabi ko revolution against a corrupt government sistem. Edsa failed kasi people dont have any point kung bakit nandoon sila. Why we need an EDSA? We want people to turn back sa rule of law. Omg.. obviously EDSA ay ginamit lang to promote so called revolution na wala namang purpose. Maganda nga kasi we can do it as that. But men are foolish to understand sa EDSA!

  • If you want the government to be better, then you have to spread the message around to people NEVER to vote the same politicians that made this country a mess in the first place. I have made a list of politicians in the Senate whom I have to vote for next time, and it's small compared to the number of politicians seated right now.

  • Furthermore, asking for a wrong will not make a right, since there a lot of red groups out there will DEFINITELY find opportunity during a revolt...and THEY will have seat in the government if they convinced the public to put them there in favor of the old. Then we have newer troubles. Problem is today, these politicians will ask the vote of transients and squatters just to get them in. If hindi sumisikip ang Maynila how can you explain the poverty and overcrowding in the city?

  • Alam mo bakit? Its because walang clear na debate about it. Yang mga red na yan, will definitely find a way to let their candidates be seated whether sa Senate, Reps or as a Pres.candidate. Kaya we should let them understand to vote sa taong na may malalim na understanding sa issues ng Pilipinas and how we can fix it thru soundness. We cant blame sa squatters. They just wanted to make a living kaya may lack of understanding sila kasi most of them are not well-educate people sa isyu ng panlipunan

  • Yes we can't blame the squatters, but they do make matters worse by accepting handouts coming from the government, and the government takes advantage of this. In my opinion they should not vote. Why? Because they are TRANSIENTS, they don't belong in any municipality in Metro Manila nor they are a bonafide resident in any of them. That's why they come here in Manila for handouts, and even re-sell them like the houses Ramos puts up for them. They became professional squatters cos of that.

  • Maybe nasasabi mo yan kasi hindi mo na naranasan as an squatter. No, theres no such thing as handouts. Yang handouts na yan nai-exist during elections. Since victim sila ng poverty, naging advantage ng corrupt politicians to give them handouts just to elect the given candidates. They come to Manila coz, they believe theres opportunity for them waiting. They should vote bcuz they are citizen & a human being. Believe me, not one single person wanted to live in a filthy house and bed filled w/ bugs

  • A "handout" is something you give to a person in a form of a gift or charity. Isn't it a handout putting a squatter in a government land the way Ramos did during his regime? Maybe you are not familiar of the face that they sell their homes to other squatters to make money? Isn't it also asking a handout if you are asking awhile back in your previous comment about the government should create more programs?? There is no difference of that now from what you get during an election.

  • Sorry, typo. Correction: "Maybe you are not familiar with the fact*..."

  • This is what happen, if you give handouts you get more of it. Since the government giving out homes/place. With this you get more people relying sa handouts(squatters). That's the problem, if its a gift coming from the government. Eventually people will just use it as advantage cuz its free. Create more programs that will protect individual rights and properties. By not allowing government what is good for the people. Government only do handouts to steal people's resources by doing a State duty.

  • Furthermore, I don't have to be a squatter to know the hardships of these people. Some of them got into poverty themselves for making a dumb decisions like selling their land away , just to get here in Manila only to find there is nothing for them. So they depend a lot from the government. And when the gov cant give them what they want...they rally! It's not my problem or anyone else's, but they should take responsibility for their actions.

  • They believe theres an opportunities in Manila. They risk their properties and their life to get sa Manila. Dumb decision or not, its their choice. But what Im trying to say here is, theres a problem of jobs and opportunities in the Philippines. Since we all know that Manila is the home of milk/honey, dats why we're so eager to go there. With this problem, government run a bunch of excuses(programs to hide the very problem). Not knowing the exact notion whos' whom benefits the ill of the nation.

  • Also, the Pharisees and Herod control the Jewish people noon because they proclaim Herod as the true "messiah". Everything about the Jewish government during that time is an example under an oligarchy: Theocratically (Pharisees), Fascist (Herod), Imperialist (Rome) and Socialist control (The Jews on Jesus) . Nariyan lahat. Jesus lang yata ang Republic which is why he stands alone.

  • 'Pagbad ka lagot ka'? Ano 'to Totalitarian approach ahahah.. sira talaga tong commercial na ito!

  • It is stupid.

But on the other hand, our country is mostly populated by the uneducated and poor . How can you tell those people that the law works for them?

I won't even vote for him next time.

  • Mostly populated, no I dont believe that. Poor kasi people cant buy foods, its over-priced, w/ that more people are getting poorer & lowering their standar of living.

  • Lack of government social programs? How many social programs do we have? Do you have a list?

  • Also, bear in mind that the more social programs our government puts out, the more the government control things and the more taxes people like you and me have to shell out to make these social programs continue to run. Our government spends A LOT in education lately, but I don't see any improvements of these public schools, nor the education of these kids. Lately I saw a high school kid smoking after school. Nice work our government. :-/

Pero ang sinasabi government should encourage local levels/community any sort of programs to help people, on their own money. And government should allow competition & sound system sa bansa. Also, government should NOT run education. I do not believe that.

  • Well that's good to hear. But still, our government still works like a socialist system, considering the way things are running. Not to mention that most politicians in this country have a background on liberal politics akin to social ideals. I'm 37 and these people are still running the same system. All those years of my life I never experienced a major change with this country. Maybe a little bit during the Ramos years...but the rest? No.

  • I think during sa Ramos years ok lang ang Pilipinas walang masyadong gulo. Socialist? We are in a socialistic na tulay sa ngayon. Like E-Vat my goodness, that is socialism already to the core. Kasi it comes from the government, but government dont make new legislation, people are thru Congress. But it seems awkward to say na it will help ease the economic pain sa bansa. Nonetheless, people must be aware na.

  • Alam mo sa akin lang, I think they should give some of the freedoms to the Filipino people like example: control their own public schools, para yung taxes papunta na lang sa mga municipalities/cities and pili na lang sila ng mga tao within their community who are best to run those schools.

  • Absolute freedom hindi some freedom. Also, freedom is not given po. Sinabi mo sakin sa local level ang public schools not centralized or run by a big government. True, it will work. Kasi maraming isyu when it comes sa public education. If local community controlling their public schools. More & likely they will get a sound education. Tapos if my isyu, they can solve it easily without government helping them.

  • Well you're right about freedom. Thanks for that correction. It's a good thing we are on the same page here. I also think they should get rid maybe some agencies too that we don't need... like the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.

  • Well, I think each person should believe sa "individual rights" rather man's opinion or government privilege. At only God the Creator can take that rights away from you. Of course, government should be limited. So yes, they should get rid of agencies. Kasi nasi-centralized na kasi ang system. Like education, NO public schools period! Di ko alam sa ibang gov.agencies. Pero we should know if we are living sa free-society then theres should be a competition not government inter. sa free-enterprises

Sa Inquirer, andun yung side nina Arroyo.

    Lozada was stretching the truth.

  • i beg to disagree sori, even though joker is my idol and ive read the inquirer. I came to conclude that if you are defensive then there something fishy and dont rely on what the tv, and newspaper said look at thier action. as far as I can see the senator is defensive so I think may tinatago siya...

  • KAW ANG BAD NGAYON

    KAYA LAGOT KA!

  • ngayon pag good ka lagot ka...

    pag corrupt ka ok ka

  • I was an intern in the Senate last summer (under Kiko Pangilinan) and I can attest that Joker is one of the most hardworking senators we have right now. And to chuck583, he only have a two-man staff, himself and his secretary so I can't understand what you mean with the "allowances to staff" you mentioned, and he does not accept any pork barrel because he is against it (kaya walang nagawa) believing its a fodder for corruption. And really he has done a lot.

  • you said it yourself he has only a two man staff. what do you think he does for the allowances given to him to pay for his staff? i really have to shut myself up.

Can you help?

Kailangan nilang makabawi through raising ilang cents/piso sa pamasahe

  • you guys doesn't even have the slightest idea what he does with the allowances for his staff. o well, have to shut myself.

  • one of philippines' best senators..

  • are you sure?
