I have watched the Y&R since i was a kid in the 70's and through most of the 80's and then stopped but the past year or so I started watching and I am hooked and Victor Newman really makes this show incredible. If they ever lose Eric Braeden they will follow in the footsteps of Guiding Light and As The World Turns and will lose ground and be canceled. Victor Newman is daytime's JR Ewing, There is something dangerous but yet likeable. Jack is NO match. I also Love Katherine Chancellor too!

As an overprotective big bro If any man ever put my two younger sisters through the emotional hell that Victor did with Ashley, I would make it my life's work to make sure he suffered the pain times 10 that my sisters went through. Personally I think it is ironic that Ashley has finally left Victor. The reason, his war with her family cost her niece and almost her sanity. And the day she realize she is holding Victor's granddaughter say goodbye to the sanity.

Personally Victor comes off like a spoil child in the end. Breaking things. Smashing things. I never understood how Ashley has never put a stop to the war between Victor and Jack. Simple conversation really. Victor if you hurt any part of my family in any way we are THRU. SIMPLE. AND MY BROTHER IS MY FAMILY. Jack you start anything with Victor and you are out of my life. LET THEM SIT ON THAT FOR A MOMENT. THE END.

it took her 25 years to wash the jerk right out of her hair. this is what set the stage for Jack and Victor's longtime rivalry. It wasn't Jack's involvement with Nikki(as so many people believe) but rather the fact that he destroyed Ashley.(the abortion and the breakdown) The thing that makes Victor and Jack is the love they have for their family no matter how asinine these old fools can be. Jack has ALWAYS adored his lil sis.
