First of all you are way cool and I need a friend as cool as you seem! :) Secondly for my makeup I am very organized. I don't keep anything past the date you're supposed to keep it. Also, maybe try a sectioned off "caddy" style bin where you can stick all your pencils, tubes and brushes sticking out of it like a pencilholder, then it has sections for your eyeshadows to go in as well. That way I can just dig out what I want and plunk it back in there without having to unfold some big thing..

I have the same problem, I have a bunch a make up and Idk where or how to organize it so I reserved a drawer on from my dresser chest and just dumped it in there. LOL not the most convenient or organized way to do it, but it beats having it all over the place...

I have found that since most eyeshadows are the same size in roundness, a plastic organizer from the local craft store is a life saver. I use mac, UD and BE and they all stack beautifully in an oraganizer meant for bead storage. They come with alot of stackable tube shaped containers...which i use for rhinestones and to contain shadows that have craked cases or such. I can fint 6 shadows per row and am up to 2 cases ...giggle...love the make-up! :) Hope this helps....

The best way to organize makeup is a dresser. You need to go to a thrift store or estate sale, etc. and find an old dresser. Some thrift stores have beautiful antique mirrors for good prices! Next, take a few hours to clean it up.. get rid of the old stuff- tubes of clumpy mascara, barely there blush.. Each drawer should be lined with something of a velvety fabric.. it keeps things in place and can be cleaned. org. by type. its a long term investment.

I went to Lowe's and got a giant toolbox for all my makeup. It's got adjustable plastic inserts to compartmentalize in any way I choose and has sections big enough to store just about anything. Plus it's super duper cheap compared to train cases. (Not as pretty tho, lol)

I'm a makeup artist and makeup cases are the biggest ripoffs in the industry. Go to a sporting goods store and nose around the tackle boxes until you find something that looks workable for you. I got a HUGE tackle box with drawers and resizeable compartments for $50.

i got like a desk from ikea it was only like a couple hundred bucks but its rly like i guess their bathroom cabinets or something and a counter, but i use it as a desk and like it has special makeup compartments in a cabinet on oneside and the other side has three big drawers, its helped me a lot to organize all my beauty products.

to organize my makeup I use silverware trays and empty cigar boxes (which I spray paint so they all match) - its easy to stack up and look neat and out of the way- but for the most part everything can be 'out' for you to see. If I put things in drawers I'd forget what I had!

I just watched your other pinup tutorial, but I can't find it again. Anywho, you were about to go to a holiday party you were less than enthused about. Well, I went and tried to recreate it, using my cheap drugstore and (GASP) yard sale makeup. Yes, my mother bought for me, at a yard sale, a little red suitcase full of new and/or gently used makeup! 1st drawer eye shadow and pigment 2nd drawer foundation, concealer, powders 3rd drawer eye liners mascaras, lash curlers, fake lashes, and i the 2nd tower thingy, 1st drawer paint pots, more pigment2nd drawer, blushes, and make up remover pads and 3 rd like whats left oer but i suggest u go to lek a walgreens or a walmart and get those small baskets taht are small enough to fit in those drawers and like sort them by sizes and shape and get like a little cute cup put my brushes

A tuber bought a nail polish display shelf like they have in the nail salons from ebay. She displays her pigments in that on the wall. Another bought a rolling plastic storage tower with drawers in it. Sort your makeup by use or color instead of by comp. If you havent used it in a long time, take it out of main and put it in closet storage. Its there if you need it. I also combine colors if I have a little of some. Press it into a new color using alcohol and toss the now empty containers. Enjoy!

(ex:a big plastic cup thing..like the one u have but bigger n fill it with vase decoration beads so that ur brushes stand a lil more separate n u can pick them up in seconds.) also, little trays at target,ice cube trays, drawer organizing trays, a bigger desk? rubber shelf liner to put on ur desk so things dont fall off(they stay on the rubber cuz it isnt smooth) etc.
