music tomatch character once again.. richard is perghhaps one of the most misunderstood character of the series so much so the misunderstood himself.. and probably the 3rd most tragic of the characters behinmd locke and desmond
I want to knock out every single scriptwriter of LOST, I'm from the Canary Islands and I swear you that we don't speak that way, that seems to be Cuban accent, please, next time make sure that the language of the place that you're talking about is the one that you think, please!!! But I'm gland to know that at least they doesn't think that we're not Africans' islands.
@elenapunksnotdead dude, nobody cares... its just like jin. who gives a crap if the accent is authentic or not as long as the characters are awesome. besides the speakers of those obscure languages, nobody even notices anyways. so who cares at all.
lost's best episode...no doubt about it! the rest of the season wasnt good, they didnt explain anything! thats y i liked this one a lot, because it gave a lot of answers
@JaCkmArc0 u mean in ab aeterno, right? because in the rest of the season they didnt! i think the show got too big for them lol, and they didnt know how to end it :P
@JaCkmArc0 what do u mean by "a lot of things"? because they didnt answer this: why do pregnant women die in the island, what happened at jacob's cabin when john locke stares at the old man, whats the origin of "the others," and what about the dharma iniciative? they left all those things with no conclusion, and what about the statue, they said they where going to answer that and they didnt...
@Tincho969X No they said they´d never going to answer who built the statue. The pregnancy issue was answered in the epilogue "The new man in charge". And all those other things you just said can be answered by doing a little thinking. The origin of the others for example. Jacob brought people to the island and Richard as his representative told them about Jacob and that they had something important to do on this island. The statue was built by ancient people which were brought on the island..
...so was the temple. The only IMPORTANT things left unanswered are the cabin and walts powers. But I knew from the beginning on that they wouldn´t answer those, because they didn´t know how. I don´t know what you wanna know about the Dharma Iniciative. I think they answered everything about this. Correct me if I´m wrong
@JaCkmArc0 well yeah ur right but how about this? what happened after the "purge", i mean what happened to the ones that survived, like dr. chan?...how did the dharma iniciative came to the island...how did jacob leave the island to recruit the candidates...and most important thing...what the hell is that corch in the island, that contains the energy, and whats that?? all that makes no sense at all
How do you know that Dr. Chan survived the purge? The Dharma initiative invented the lamp post station. The station was built in Los Angeles over a pocket of electromagnetic energy linked to other similar pockets all over the world. Through monitoring or manipulation of this energy, the Initiative was able to deduce the existence of the Island. Thats how they came there. What do you mean with how did Jacob leave the island. Jacob is the boss of the island. He has special powers...
@Tincho969X ... That allow him to control everythingat this place. So it shouldn´t be a problem to leave it. The cork is like mother siad "Life..death and rebirth". I guess its somehowIt connected to the electro magnetic pocket beneath the island. It is a spiritual force. If you wanted to have a logical and scientific explaination for spiritual things you were watching the wrong show buddy. If there are any other things you either missed or didn´t really understand then take a look at Lostpedia
Everything that isn´t answered is not important to the plot except for walt and the cabin. What else is there left? The lighthouse? A magic mirror ´doesn´t have to be explained.
@JaCkmArc0 I think they should make a movie. Would be from Aaron's adult point of view, investigating what happen to their parents (or Jin & Sun's daughter view - perhapps both and falling in love;-). They would talk with some of the surviving charecters (now old), maybe Walt would give some answers... I think would be a nice intriguing conspiracy movie (with Michael Giacchino music, of course!). P.S.- I'm am actually on episode 10, season 6, not knowing the end...
@JaCkmArc0 I'm anxiuous for the finalle. I've read lots of disapoiting reactions. Not expecting too much, though. I had enough: this is the best show ever and Ab Aeterno worth an entire season. Maybe you are right but, who knows, someone will come up (now or in the future) with a movie or novel, picking up the characters and fulfil some gaps and unfinished stories, just for LOST fans kill some the lack feelings. But must be another storie, with completly different protagonists, based on... LOST!
I was waiting so long for the answer, what is Richard's history? Why doesn't he age? This episode really gave the answer and yes, it wouldn't have been the best episode without the music...
@Thewarrior26 Totally agree, the music is this was just haunting and fantastic. Plus, Nestor Carbonell utterly transformed the way I looked at Richard in a single episode, AMAZING ACTING! :)
