Happy with what you have to be happy with you have to be happy with what you have to be happy with what you have happy with what you have to be happy with you have to be happy with what you have to be happy with what you have you have to be happy with what you have to be happy with.
Saw the show at the Park West. The crowd was unruly to say the least. This was at some points a keyed up crowd. King Crimson ripped the place apart, top to bottom. there wasn't shit left. Then I read reviews in what a bunch of old fucks complained "They were too loud" and other shit like that. I am as old as the complainers and though perhaps they could have turned it up a bit. Great show. Great show.
People always say things like: "This band was way ahead of their time." But I disagree with that statement because it implies that everyone else will someday catch up.
HOW CAN THERE BE ONLY 14 COMMENTS!!!!! When the Andromedans, or Arcturians, or the Hitler eugenics experiments (or whatever crashed in Area 51, or Roswell NM, USA) finally (AND AT LONG LAST)!) judge the Earth (Oh RAPTURE ALREADY!) be ye forewarned that they will only look at the number of hits that this song received as their litmus test.. Those who commented are saved - the rest are DAMNED TO HELL!
@007Pogo It's not criticizing anything. The lyrics were a blueprint, only meant for the rest of the band, to show how he would sing to the music. The band thought the lyrics were fine as they were so they went with it.
King's X Crimson!!!

I thought this was Velvet Revolver at first... Not comparing the bands there are miles of distance, but this has some VR style...

This song was made for 1:30. I would love Brittany Spears if she threw this part in just ONE song. It is genius. A total satire on mundane structure.

King Crimson is so fucking adaptable.
70's: Phychadellice and Jazz
80's: New Wave and early techno
90's: Heavy ass instrumentals (THRAK)
00's: HEAVY ROCK!

I'm pleasantly surprised by how industrial-sounding this is. I'm guessing they've been listening to a lot of Nine Inch Nails.
maalbe987 7 months ago
@maalbe987 these guys were already rocking, before the members of nine inch nails were born.
irondeth2 5 months ago
@irondeth2 I know that, but that doesn't mean they can't show influience from a younger band. This came out in 2003 so it is possible.
maalbe987 5 months ago
@maalbe987 Actually, the Frippster said he actually liked Tool, and opened with Soundscapes for them a while back.
eddievhfan1984 4 months ago
@eddievhfan1984 Yeah, I knew it was some band in that genre I heard an influence from.
