  • oh god... i just thought of something....... A pokemon game centered around the MC... being Gary.

  • I know you're using the most recent track for each theme, but the one you used for the Elite 4 for Kanto was a remake of a remix of the original Kanto Gym leader battle (which the Kanto Elite 4 also used) and was never used for an Elite 4 battle. So wouldn't it have been better to use the Gym Battle theme from FireRed/LeafGreen. Correct me if I'm wrong and I'm likely just being picky cause I like that theme better. Either way nice video.

  • bertha looks like she could be your grandma

  • It always amused me how a peppy young girl in Hawaiin beach wear used sombre ghost type Pokémon.

  • @nielsisback No way. Flint didn't have that many Fire-types because D/P lacked them (only ones in the wild were Ponyta line). In Platinum, due to the Pokedex expansion he has all-Fire team. Lucian had all Psychic-types.

  • Sinnoh Elite Four is very underrated. When I was nine I beat the whole Hoenn Elite Four with Blaziken (and I used Lombre few times too). Last time I played Platinum, I barely won against each of them (maybe not Bertha) with Garchomp, Torterra, Lucario, Luxray, Golduck and Crobat.

  • @Poxeish Sinnoh and Unova are the strongest elite so far.

  • @XxOrochimaruX You got that right.

  • Thumbs up if y just heard the special announcement on pokemon smash!

  • funny thing about the univor reigen elite 4 is that they can all bea each other XD

  • hoenn elite four, they have a pretty good team with their pokemon, drake have the best dark type pokemon team tha karen or giima and looks very cool, drake has a very good dragon team, even than lance & glacia matched very good lorelei's team, and phoebe is far cuter than agatha or shauntal x3

  • the sinnoh elite four.....are a joke

  • @nielsisback Very true. I beat them with a level 60 something Empolen who still knew bubblebeam.

...And I was actually at the pokemon trainer age of 10 all those years ago. XD

  • @nielsisback @PolarRook

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you both. Sinnoh is actaully quite hard. If some Elite Four is a joke it is the Hoenn one. Seriously, when I was nine I beat them with only Blaziken and Lombre (and I used Lombre only once).

  • @Poxeish @PolarRook the hoehn elite four is shitty hard, exept for sidney. the sinnoh elite four dont even have the balls to use 5 pokemon of the type they actually use (Flint,Lucien)

  • Agatha ftw!!!...XD

  • TheBudakkeji

what do you mean kantos is based on johto, you retard!!! kanto came first therefore HG/SS are based on kanto

  • I personly think that Hoenn has the hardest elite four member because it took me 2 years to beat them ya TWO **** YEARS!!!!!!!!

  • Unova is EPIC i can not put in any other way

  • Kanto music theme is based on Pokemon HG/SS. I prefer Pokemon FR/LG

  • @TheBudakkeji yeah it's more legit

  • @TheBudakkeji Kanto came before HG/SS...and FR/LG IS IN Kanto.

    ...

  • Fucking Kanto's elite four was hard as hell and then BAM, GARY MOTHERFUCKIN OAK

  • the fire trainer of sinnoh is definitely based on Ronald McDonald

  • johtos music rocks

  • Hoenn one was amazing. The beginning is stunning

  • Me fav E4

    Kanto: Lorelei cuz she's hot

Johto: Koga cuz he's easy to take care of

Hoenn: Drake cuz he's dragon is great wimp

Sinnoh: Flint, as he is Fire-type user

Unova: Marshall, I dont know why

  • Comment removed

  • Unova's elite four is so fucking strong the second time you battle them e_e'

  • Unova E4 was tough.

  • kanto::: nah

    jhoto::::: easy

hoenn:::my grandma can beat him with closed eyes

    shinho:::some goodunova very good

  • weird enough...

my favorite Kanto E4 member was Agatha.XD

  • Seriously, i think that the dark type of Unova is a girl. Because she/he has 4 girl pokémon and 2 Male pokémon. Sorry for my bad English, i'm only 12

  • @daan110100 dude grimsley is a boy don't judge for a pokemon gender!

  • @daan110100 Just look at his name. GRIMSLEY. That doesn't sound feminine. And his look isn't very feminine either.

  • @daan110100 im a girl and only three of my pokemon are female .-.

  • lorelei and bruno were very easy, but lance before Gary what a challenge ;$

  • I kinda have a thing for Glacia.. something about that stare.

  • Lorelie ddoesn't look hot she looks more like a badass in that pic

  • 4:29 Ronald?

  • @0bserverXD No, that's Ronald's bad ass cousin, Flint!

  • @Brendan95732 And there is also a bad-a** flint in mother 3!

  • @MrSuperHeatran He's everywhere! XD

  • la cancion de kanto y johto y creo que en sonnoh son la misma cancion que en los gymnacios

  • I'm fairly sure that Johto didn't have its own Elite 4 theme, it just re-used the Kanto theme...

  • @SvDKILLSWITCH it used the same theme as the johto gym leaders which is linke what kanto and sinnoh did

  • Obviously, this is insulting fire-type users. Kanto gym leader is old, Hoenn is dumbass, Sinnoh eltie 4 is ronald mcdonald

  • @TheBudakkeji So what if Blaine was old? He kicked ass and is probably my favorite male Gym Leader. That 'stache and those glasses. B)

  • The Kanto Elite 4 music sounds the best, it has a bad ass feel but its way too short.

Unova and Hoenn have the best Elite 4 members though.

  • Hoenn Will Always Be The Pokemon Generation That Has The Best Music!!!

  • Aw Kanto, I loved their Gym learders...

  • Is it me...or does Drake have a VEEERY EEEVIIIL smile on his face. It creeps me out....

  • @TheDavidan13 I think Drake is grandpa of Giovanni

  • @LuxrayLZS ...Ya think?

  • *me guessing the hoenn elite 4 members 'cuz i don't know*

me: lets see fire, water, psychic, and...... water......wut

  • Comment removed

  • @opaattack

It's actually dark, ghost, ice, dragon.

  • SINNOH Y U NO HAV HOT ELITE FOUR MEMBER?

  • @shumjuna1 They have Aaron!!!!

  • @shumjuna1 cuz they have a hot champion

  • @shumjuna1 well they have their champion cynthia :D

  • @invisibleseeker True True I forgot

  • @shumjuna1 Cuz sinnoh already have a hot champion yay!!

  • @shumjuna1 You like Agatha? Well, to each his own...

  • @shumjuna1 Sinnoh has the hottest champion, that's why

  • @shumjuna1 flint well has HOT pokemon

  • @shumjuna1 Flint is hot? lol

  • @shumjuna1 Bertha is very sexy *_*

  • @shumjuna1 It's okay. They have Cynthia. :P

  • @shumjuna1 Cynthia is enough.

  • @shumjuna1 they may not have any hot members but they do have ronald mcdonald so that makes up for it

  • @shumjuna1 What? Sinnoh doesn't have hot elite four members? Who cares if you don't have hot members when you have RONALD MCDONALD!

  • @shumjuna1 You must be blind because Lucian is a hot mess.

  • @HimikoHim3 Im talking female but lucian looks like that guy who can see straight through you, ya know what I mean?

  • gosh unova E4 Is like night club music!

  • Say crap about the 5th gen pokemon or alder, but the white and black music is the best.

  • OMG I just realised that Caitlin from the battle castle in Sinnoh( Platinum) is one of the elite four in Unova(Black and White).

  • Anime version of Hoenn Elite Four is the best.

  • Oh, and I find it peculiar and rather interesting that Shauntal is left-handed :D

  • I seriously thought that the dark type user Karen from Gold/Silver was an old lady, but when her character design got better in HG/SS I was like...:"WTF? She was that hot??"

  • @FelixEarth Even the pokemon universe has cosmetic surgery

  • Kanto's E4 music was epic on the hand held version.

Was even more epic in the Pokemon Stadium version!

  • Holy shit, dat Hoenn. I love the claps <3

  • BW E4 Theme is the best.

  • is will a boy or a girl ?

  • @drigergabryel i dunno but i think that is a he that prefer men

  • @drigergabryel Boy.

  • @drigergabryel Boy, he looks like dimentio.... :D

  • My fave is sinnoh cause it gives you a feeling of the the battle pumping and pumping antill it explodes when the final attack is called!

  • My favorite Elite four theme is from Gen 3. Sounds great and it really gets you into the battle.

  • I hate those pseudofans of pokemon, a real fan like all gen.

  • @aws122 well then, I'm a proud to say that I'm a "pseudofan" of the second generation

  • @aws122 Nope .... Thats wrong. I dont like the 5gen .... Compare the 5th gen with 1 - 3 gen Pokemon.

  • @AndreasFuchs1 Graphics: waaay better

    Music: always epic

  • @pokymon92 I dont mean the graphic or the music .... I mean the Pokemon.

Look at the Pokemon from Black & White and compare them with the 1 gen. You know what i mean?

  • @AndreasFuchs1 oh yeah i agree with you

  • @aws122 its not that we hate the new games, its just like 90% of the newer pokemon are so uninspired, and sometimes its painfully obvious which new pokemon are there for marketing reasons ... I.E. the obnoxious "cute" ones.

  • @Arcademan09

-_- It's funny because the first gen was the most generic of them all.

  • first time I saw will in gold I thought it was loriel again.

  • Hoenn no doubt had the best Elite Four music.

  • @MelloKiraEru but the wierdest looking eliet four. I still think the GB red and blue is best music ever.

  • @MelloKiraEru ok fari enough 5th gen has two wierd looking ones, but not all four.

  • Personally i can't stand Generation 5 and i pretty much refuse to acknowledge it's existence. All the Pokemon except the 3 starter pokemon's first forms looks like a big jumbled mess and even the music it'self isn't as good as the older games. Generation 4 wasn't great but at least the music was decent and the pokemon actually looked like pokemon.

  • @arc101 I dont like Generation 5 either in terms of the game itself. The world was less fleshed out, had less stuff in it than games such as G/S/Crystal, Ruby, Emerald and Sapphire. The Pokemon all sucked for the most part. Etc. Galactic was one of the better antagonists though with its two leaders.

However the Elite 4 music in Gen 5 was still the best imo.

  • You have to admit for a gameboy, Nintendo did a pretty good job with the hoenn region

  • Cant a guy just go to listen to some music and not get caught up in reading gen war comments?

  • Black and White's soundtrack has continued to amaze me. The Unova Elite Four had ghost, dark, and psychic which really fit with the chromatic melody of their theme. Though i have to admit Kanto's is crazy complicated to the point where i have fallen in love with it.

  • it is sad to day that pokemon is going down . but no matter i still support pokemon.

and i hate B&W alot. but i still they will crate a pokemon game that has or the region and with thier original theme. In my opinion Hoenn has the best soundtrack

  • I didn't think the Elite 4 in any of the regions were very difficult. They were just a pain because of all the Full Restores that they used DX

  • B&W's music sucks, it pains me to say.

  • @ExecuteRobot uumm would you please explain dude as to why the music in B&W sucks?

In my opinion B&W has the best collection of soundtracks of all the pokemon games in a number of diffrent ways for example:

The fact that the music changes a bit depending on which season it is.

All of the Routes&Towns in B&W have their own music(most of them)

When was the last time you heard an organ in a pokemon game?

Everything in B&W kicks ass and none of you haters will change my mind!

  • @Mannetasi Continue to delude yourself then, I understand it's hard to accept how far Pokémon has fallen. :(

  • @ExecuteRobot

I know the TV show is going downhill and the console spinoffs might not be as good as they one were.

But the handheld games like B&W are still going great.

*sigh* i often get the felling that the gen V haters(and Gen 3&IV for that matter) are just blinded by nostalgia from Gen 1&2.

Especally when they say the Gen V pokemon suck .. . i just cant take that seriously.

I acually think the pokemon in Gen V is BETTER than Gen 1&2 . . yeah i f**king said it haters!!

  • @Mannetasi As I said before, go ahead and continue to delude yourself. Most people know Pokémon is a shadow of its former self, so many try to convince themselves that this gen is the best ever rather than come to accept the harsh reality. I used to be surprised by fans like you (considering how pathetic this gen is), but now I understand your imposed mindset.

  • @ExecuteRobot I agree that 5th Gen is a big let down, but you can't say pokemon hasnt improved. I mean, there's wifi battling, theres a minigame (though pokemon musical is really pathetic) there are 3D graphics at some points, and now that there are more items and pokemon, new strategies can be conjured. Plus, now you can hold all the items you want, as opposed to the first few gens.

Of course, if you mean that the difficulty is a shadow of its past self, I totally agree with you.

  • @scrulesman1234 Agreed, I just meant more from a creative perspective. Aside from a few minor technical things, not much else has improved with B&W, and if anything has declined.

  • @ExecuteRobot Black and White is great and the games are still as awesome as ever. You have your opinions but trying to pass them off as fact and attacking someone else for disagreeing with you is just pathetic.

  • @gamingeagle19 Oh? I never attacked anyone. Matter of fact, he was the one who responded. Your comment is very ironic.

  • @ExecuteRobot So you didn't call him deluded while looking down your nose at him the whole time? Could have fooled me. Truth is Gen V IS one of the best games. Better story, better gyms, better graphics, better cities, better villains, and an epic ending.

  • @gamingeagle19 If that is what makes you happy, go ahead and think it.

  • @gamingeagle19 Worst Pokemon (and less of them), Worst world (small), Lame cities (don't know why you say best cities, they were not that great - but not the worst), story was the same as all the others and the only thing that made it a little better was N and Ghetsis, but in general the world is lacking, the cities are lacking, the mall sucks, there aren't as many Pokemon, most of the Pokemon look stupid even with the cleaner pixels, etc.

Gold/Silver/Cryst and Ruby/Saph/Em were the best ones.

  • @gamingeagle19 And concerning your other posts, hypocrisy is also pathetic, and a prime example is telling someone not to pass their opinions off as fact only to turn around and do the exact same thing by saying "Gen V IS one of the best...". Even having the nerve to start that off by saying "Truth is...".

If you are going to try and pass yourself off as an intellect using sayings such as "looking down your nose..." you might want to avoid elementary mistakes like these.

  • @Ch4oTiK There is a huge difference between stating what your opinion is like I did and attacking everyone else for having a different opinion like what he did. In his world his view and his view alone were right and everyone else was wrong.

but how can you honestly say these cities were worse. They were much more vibrant and alive with far more to do than ANY other game. That IS fact. And this gen had the exact same amount as every other gen.

  • @gamingeagle19 Attacking everyone else's opinion is a separate matter so it's a nil point. Regardless of that, you still stated your opinion as fact. And don't forget, retaliation is another form of attack. You did the same thing he did, only in a different way.

Aside from that, I just didn't feel the cities were interesting at all in B/W. They had no appeal to me, like I said having the side-route mall was lame and the mall was also lame. No casino. Etc. Lots of stuff was missing from B/W.

  • @gamingeagle19 The best developed worlds were, hands down, in Pearl/Diamond/Platinum and Crystal/Ruby/Saphire. The underground was chill, the whole thing making your own base/fort was cool, etc. Lots of stuff to do in those worlds aside from fighting pokemon and trainers.

Also, moves like Waterfall and other things made exploration more fun. Victory Road was MUCH tougher and bigger in every other game, and had cool hidden stuff.

B/W was just...underdeveloped compared to all but Gen 1 and 2.

  • @Ch4oTiK The bases were just gimmicks that served no real purpose at all. Same with the Underground. Everything in black and white served an actual purpose either in single player or online.

  • @gamingeagle19 The purpose they served was something to do aside from running around and battling pokemon. Extra isn't always good, but in this case it was imo.

  • @Ch4oTiK You also act as if Waterfall doesn't exist in B/W. It does. In fact there are tons of post game exploration to be had with all the HM's. They just didn't make it required

  • @gamingeagle19 Hm. Must have missed a few things.

  • @Ch4oTiK it's also interesting that you bring up gen 1 and 2. The 2 gens that had the least features in them.

  • @gamingeagle19 I said B/W was underdeveloped compared to all but 1 and 2. You understand the context here, correct?

  • @Ch4oTiK Obviously I don't. I have no earthly idea what you mean by "underdeveloped"

  • @gamingeagle19 Less stuff, that's all. Compared to all but 1 and 2 means that 1 and 2 were the only ones that had less than B/W. Or at least felt that way. B/W did open up a lot post game but sucked up until then.

  • @Ch4oTiK less stuff sure but it lends itself to the game. I think they tried to do a bit too much with 3 and 4 and just spread themselves too thin.

  • @Ch4oTiK victory road is quite literally a mountain maze with lots of trainers and pokemon. Gen 2 was short and had ZERO trainers. Honestly I think you are getting the two gens mixed up.

  • @gamingeagle19 Not entirely, I simply wasn't specifying which Gens. Hard to hit every point perfectly with this ghastly type limit YouTube has.

Yeah 2's VR wasn't the greatest, but 3-4 and even 1 were vastly superior to 5's in terms of size and difficulty.

  • @Ch4oTiK I admit it's been a while since I've played gen 1 or 3 but I don't remember being all that much longer or difficult than B/W. All three are fairly long.

  • @Ch4oTiK plus the sheer fact that B/W's victory road was much different gives it serious points.

  • @gamingeagle19 Well, it was only really different in that you had those outside cliff areas to slide down. Other than that it was pretty much exactly the same, only much smaller. I feel like they dumbed it down because maybe people didn't enjoy how long the others were? I don't know. I do remember feeling sort of...fatigued/restless or whatever after trucking through it in the older games, but the easy of B/W's made me appreciate the difficulty of the older ones.

  • @Ch4oTiK What I really liked was that they took the semi-maze idea of the past victory roads and just made it far more vertical. I thought it was kind of cool. Damn comment limitations.

  • @Ch4oTiK anyways I think the only victory road that I found really long and tiring was the first one. I think it was a little too much.

  • @gamingeagle19 ...the ease*

Anyway it's all a matter of "different strokes" I guess, but I was hugely disappointed in B/W compared to the others, namely Crystal and Platinum. Concerning Gen 2, it left an impression on me because of how much it improved on Gen 1 (And Lugia was awesome), which is what makes me support it over B/W, which was all around forgettable for me.

  • @Ch4oTiK yeah Gen 2 did add a lot more stuff but considering how bare bones gen 1 was to begin with it wasn't really that hard. And they still added stuff to V. Like the different seasons.

  • @gamingeagle19 Ah, forgot to mention the seasons. That was a cool addition, especially if you don't exploit the date change on your DS and just quit for a while, come back in a few months and play during Fall or whatever.

  • @gamingeagle19 And I don't care about having cleaner pixels and fight animations, nor do I care about using flashy camera transitions to hide the fact that lots of other more interesting things were cut from the games either. Graphics are not my interest. Games are about gameplay, story, etc. imo.

Want pretty graphics? See a movie.

  • @Ch4oTiK yeah god forbid they actually try to make the fights more interesting. Everyone knows that having sprites just sit there like a photograph forever and ever are far more interesting.

  • @gamingeagle19 I wasn't going against the graphical improvements. I was simply stating that they are not enough to be a game's saving grace. What makes a game good to me is Gameplay/Story/Music equally (music is HUGE because it's a universal language that inspires mood. It can turn a bad situation good, and a good one bad, but it can also accentuate good and bad enough to make you really feel the mood, which improves the overall experience a LOT). Graphics are secondary, if not tertiary.

  • @gamingeagle19 About the only thing B/W has going for it are the Antagonists N and Ghetsis, the music, and the Gyms had some interesting themes save for the ground one, which was just stupid and was also in the worst city with the worst music. Also, the Team Plasma and Elite 4 Battle themes, as well as Ghetsis battle theme and N's outside (not battle) theme, were all great. The rest of the music sounded too...kiddy. Not bad just...not good either.

  • @gamingeagle19 Lastly, sorry for having to post 20 messages. Youtube's comment limit is annoying.

  • @Ch4oTiK I agree. I can barely type two sentences before I run out of characters. Really annoying.

  • @ExecuteRobot yeah yeah i know pokemon may be shadow of its former self minus the handheld rpg games which still kicks ass and i'm not going to change my mind dude. You gotta understand dude we all have our opinions about everything.

I understand if you like gen 1&2 more but i also think calling gen V pathetic is going WAY to far dude!

If you are going to continue responding please come with some proper arguments as to why B&W sucks.

  • @ExecuteRobot I understand your disdain for Black and White. I also agree with you about how far Pokemon has fallen, with Gen V being BY FAR my least favorite (Gold/Silver and Ruby/Saph were my favorites).

That being said, hating a game for one or more aspects doesn't mean that every aspect of the game is bad. Despite 80% of B/W being garbage, you can't deny the music was still good and so were N and Ghetsis as antagonists.

Other than those things, I agree with you.

  • @ExecuteRobot I also liked Platinum, forgot to mention it. Gen 2-4 were good imo (1 was good of course, but 2 improved enough to take 1 out of the top for me).

  • I honestly think Black && White have the worse themes.

    In my opinion.

  • sinnoh is the best.

  • so johto champion lance is elite 4 member in kanto thats new 4 me

  • hoenn had the most epic theme :)

  • @WhatTheThing nope, unova has the most epic theme.

  • @exkuhpid well, which theme you like the most depends on you so i respect your opinion :)

  • why does Unove and black and white make no sense to me >.< i got the game but i hated it afer 3 hours of paytime

  • Unova has the vastly noticeably superior theme.

  • @Ch4oTiK agree. (for the millionth time) Youtube: "You have recently posted several comments.

Enter the text in the image to continue posting."

  • my fav elite 4 theme is gen 5's but my fav elite 4 member is either, the bug guy from sinnoh, d\the dark type from unova but my fav champion in lance.

  • 0:00 Kanto, 1:12 Johto, 2:30 Hoenn 3:41 Sinnoh, 4:47 Unova

  • @freespace2dotcom fail. description V_V

  • I feel the need to rank them too XD

    1. Hoenn

    2. Kanto

    3. Unova

    4. Johto

    5. Sinnoh
