bullfrog stopped plans to make DK3 as they wanted to make games for the console market of the time. Big mistake really in my opinion as DK was a classic

@AdamfMc but the thing is Horny is your ONLY way to defeat those two. None of your other creatures can hurt them. I tested every creature available trained to level 8 with the arena on them. Level 8+ mistresses can freeze them but thats bout it. The Knights do a 1 hit kill on them. Time to summon Horny.

This decision was in effect the end of Bullfrog as a brand; the company had already been owned by EA for several years, and EA laid off some employees and put the remainder onto other projects such as the Harry Potter line.

God, this was my favourite game when I was younger. After I completed this I played Blk and White 1+2. They should seriously make DK3. They should'nt have canceled it because of B+W.

All Dungeon Keeper intellectual properties are owned by EA right now. The original Bullfrog-ers (now in Lionhead) cannot make DK3 without fighting EA in the court.

The Horned Reaper has always been one of my favourite game characters, along with Duke Nukem, and the guy from the original Quake... so many memories

Actually, the developers had plenty of ideas for DK3, but Bullfrog lacked money, and the game was going to remind too much about Black&White, so the project was cancelled in early 2000.

well..that was to be decided in DK3 which DK fans realise never came out, i read a collum about it:

the game was to be on the overworld they probably had trouble desining it or something, because in the overworld that would completly change gameplay because there would be no digging or anything.
