i'm really torn on this one. i would rather we all had open primaries, in which case lieberman would have won easily. but i also feel democrats have a right to put forward their pick. the opposition is so weak in this case that lamont would have won, no question. perhaps the silver lining is that lieberman is a more bipartisan candidate and could do more to bridge the gap, particularly on domestic issues.
man, is this lame. Did you guys do the bear ad too? Joe Lieberman is so dedicated to the Democratic party, that he's running against the democratically elected Democrat. .. which by the way, he would have probably won, if he wasn't all fired up to declare himself as an independent. He was too ready to "cut and run" (Joe and Dick's favorite phrase).
