every time i see this movie it makes me think about what if bobby had lived and been able to see how his mom changed. and how much more open we are now about this r.i.p. bobby the end of movie always gives me hope that with each day things get better for all of the bobbies and janes out there. love is everything no matter who its with.

I was wondering: Is this video a mashup of both Trading Yesterday's versions of this song? The beginning sounds like their version of Shattered from "The Beauty and the Tragedy." and the end, after he jumps is the version from "More Than This" because it has additional verses. Thank you for this beautifully edited piece! As a boy in my late teens

I met, dated and developed a crush on Bobby! Looking back, I imagine

I saw in him a big brother as well as a boyfriend. I am an only child, so

this has been a theme throughout my life! My Dad was so kind and

remarkably progressive for the time, often allowing Bobby to sleep

over, especially when things were rough at home!

Man this vid hit home! I'm gay with a mother that used to be just like the mother in the movie so i know what its like! Religion is something you can choose, being gay is not . I still can't understand how you can choose someone else's ideas (religion) over your own flesh an blood....

*tears* i have watched this video many times and i cry terribly each time! i believe in god and i believe he has the same love for gay ppl as he does for anyone else! i believe that being gay, well, it does not matter, love is love and NO ONE should hide who they are! i am not gay but i know how much this story has effected me! everyone deserves love and acceptance!

Wonderfull !!! The trailer only gave me shivers and you raised it to another level. I didn't see the movie yet but from what I saw and read I know how tragic it is but also sends a message of hope. My coming out was fairly easy but I know that for a lot of gays it is really awfull... I wish that movies like this open peoples eyes and that no tragedy should happen because of someones sexuality. Love who you love in peace and people should love you for being honest to yourself and to them. xox
