I served on this ship CV64 USS Constellation, always the first:

First Air Strikes on Vietnam

First Ace of the Vietnam War - yes, a SAILOR beat the USAF

First Strikes against Iraq 2003

Cool eh, and you all saw this on TV :-)

The first US Navy ship was Constellation 1797, there is a Constellation in Baltimore, MD 1854 series and this great ship 1961. Good Stuff :-)
