  • CLAP CLAP CLAP!

  • WHEN ELENIN ALLIGNS BETWEEN THE SUN AND THE EARTH - WE SHOULD BE IN ITS TAIL--COULD WE BE CLOSE ENOUGH FOR THE TAIL DEBRIS TO CASUE US ANY GREIF?-- THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXCELLENT VIDEOS......

  • @movinon04 That's what I was thinking..

  • @movinon04 When the comet is straight between us and the sun the only tail we're in is the ion tail, and as the name says it's just ionized particles, not debris.

When Elenin flies past our orbit in the end of Oct we will be in the debris tail but it will only give us a few more shooting stars if anything.

  • Hi & thanks for providing such a comprehensive video. I'm curious tho if you're able to do the same for Nibiru/Hercolubus that can only be seen thru infra-red?

  • @starcave If you are talking about the weird infra-red thing on Google Sky he already has.

    Look at 19:30 in /watch?v=gIVmzG2Y6zA . It's CW Leonis.

  • @d5uncr Thanks :) I wondered why it's not moved at all from it's position!!

  • I would like to see more up to date pic and vids of this so called comet. And why isn't main stream news covering this, any other comet or asteroid they have always said something, just curios

  • I would like to see more up to date pics of it, more vids, to many questions

  • The comments on the SpaceOps site are "moderated" none of my questions or comments have been posted....at all...so this is why there are not many comments, Leonid picks and chooses what he wants others to see. My question was why is there NO search results on Elenin on CNN, Wiki. Hubble; Nasa; etc. etc, not one listing...seems ODD...also odd is that we have this SuperNOVA visible same day and time methods as Comet E...Solar Flares, rolling black outs coincide...yet this is all on ONE guy?

  • @BamaLori How long was it that you posted your question? They don't accept them immediately. Also if there are many comments, be sure to expand the list to see all.

    Wiki has a page en.wikipedia . org/wiki/C/2010_X1

Why should CNN be interested (apart from maybe reporting on the crazy theories on th interwebs) in a small comet that we probably won't even be able to see with out naked eyes?

  • Thank you for sharing your observations. I always learn something.

  • It's so nice to read intelligent comments, and see how everyone comes together and puts the pieces together.

  • Thanks for these videos they are very informative. Much appreciated.

  • Maybe it is intelligent and slowed down to make sure it was passing earth lol

  • So do you think this comet or thing will set of a emp or earthquakes

  • How can elenin slow down and be 46000 miles behind its original trajectory and then speed up to maintain the same time differential of approximately 10 minutes? Surely this slowing will compound over time and the elenin will continue to increase its lag distance making it cross the Earth's orbit path at a later date.

  • @katgolds30 The last Observation used by JPL to determine their solution was dated AUG 2nd, 2011. The MPC solution used much newer observations. The MPC Orbit places the Comet around 17 minutes later on the Close Approach date of 10/16. No compounding involved. You can find that at time mark 7:03 in the video.

  • @TBar1984 Thank you for your reply but I still find it rather odd that NASA, with so many observations including a close fly-by (Stereo B), could be so far off unless there has been a slowing down. Could the CME's that impacted The Elenin have had an impact on its velocity?

  • @katgolds30 I would love to know why JPL is not using any observations newer than Aug 2nd in their solutions. I thought it was a misprint last week, but, this week it is the same. I just plotted the MPC Orbit #2 from Jun 14th. The Comet is only 23,800km behind the MPC Jun 14th orbit on Oct 16th. So, according to the MPC, it's only around 8 minutes behind their last orbit data on Oct 16th.

  • The nucleus is about 2.5 miles wide spaceops is were i found this

  • @cornfeed34 The last I heard from Leonid was about two days ago in the Countdown to perihelion thread. His comment, "Nucleus was 2-4 km, now, perhaps smaller. Nothing follow this comet, this is rumors." I have been using 3km for a size in SNP.

  • If these inbound objects are no threat why did the U.S. government recently close off all public scientific research projects and classify NEO information? Thanks for the video update.

  • Some people don't have any manners. Thank you for the update.

  • ok this other video says that the comet is still together, i believe that, other than the radio telescope data there is nothing to support a breakup that is logical watch?v=IfNKxmYEl4Q

  • Thanks for the updates.
