@ruthless6661 Israel recognized a palestinian state already in 1947. They wanted to shake hands but the Arabs attacked them. At that time Palestine was given all of Jerusalem, by the way. But they wanted everything and wanted to destrot Israel. Then tey tried again in 1967 and 1973. Israel has no problem with recognizing a palestinian state, but only if Palestinians agree to stop attacking Israel.
