  • what abeautiful video! All good for your son!!!

  • my sister is autistic, severe. still learning a lot since 50 years!!!! i had a strange sensation this boy could find his way out, but it is intuition.....his eyes are too present...and then I heard in my head an orchestra and a cello song....does he like music? ever tried with an instrument that has full havy sounds like a cello? sorry if i just let my thoughts go..but this came in my mind because of the video... your son is blessed by love!

  • I think that was a pretty accurate interpretation of his thoughts/feelings. I have severe autism and would've felt similar things and thought similar thoughts if I was in such a place. But, of course, that is just me :)

  • @stephanielynnkeil Stephanie, you don't have severe autism. I'm glad you have decided today to be honest about it and have backed away from claiming severe autism which you don't have and never could understand. None of us could.

  • Very beautiful...thank you so much...

  • hey where is the beach btw?

  • Breathtakingly and heartbreakingly beautiful! Not only for people with a loved one with autism, but on many more levels! Thank you for sharing.

the line "my heart knows its own happiness" hit the mark for me as a parent

  • my son is autistic, he is 13, we are truly blessed beautiful video god bless you

  • Wonderful poetic film. Yes, the ocean and its movements, patterns and rhythm speak a musical and kinesthetic language greater than the obstacles of meaning deafness, meaning blindness and lack of simultaneous sense of other. One merges with it and in this knows belonging with.... fellow Aussie autie, Donna Williams
