I saw this movie yesterday, i was great the only problem is that they changed history a little bit in the movie. Some characters died that were not suppose to die until years later, and the end was a little different than what really happened. But all in all it was a great movie.
true. the movie was very good and had a good story. sure a few details were wrong... for example baby face nelson actually died for leg injury after he was shot in the leg with a shotgun and john dilinger is different, but it really doesn't matter. the movie was well worth the money
@Allycat23 yea, like Nelson, Homer, and Walter. But you can totally understand why they did that. It was the create the downfall of dillinger. If they didn't die, then they would have an inconsistency where Dillinger never helped them to try and escape. Its just so you can end an already 2 and a half hour movie. But an awesome 2 and a half hours it is!
the ending was fairly abrupt. but i loved it. johnny depp is just a fantastic actor and fits so perfectly, portrays so well, the character of john dillinger.
worth the money, if you ask me. the viewing i saw ended not two hours ago - fresh are memories of the moments of tension, excitement and anticipation.
Dillinger enjoying being in the spotlight and would often brag about being #1 on the FBI most wanted list. He lived life exactly as he wanted and never took money from those who were already poor enough.
yes and he never meant to kill someone. He was "disappointed" when he killed the cop(cant remember name but am reading the book) at the chicago bank. Mainly because he didn't want to be portrayed as a murderer but as a modern day robin hood
Does anyone notice the type of muzzle flash a Thompson makes when it has that flash suppressor on it. It happens in every movie and its not CGI. Howcome you dont see it in real life with live rounds?
the device on the front is a cutts compensator that reduces muzzle climb, it has really no effect on the muzzle flash. Some BAR's utilized flash hiders, but the thompson did not.
dude the guys that come behind them aroud 00:15 look like zombies ant the others are shooting more zombies lol Xd
anyway i would love to see the extraordinary story of dillinger in a mann film i hear and read they used the real locations and they are vero close to the real story, i am happy about that.
its mostly cuz it was the 1930s, and I wasnt born till the 80s, plus, it isnt something you get to learn about in school, It would be soo cool if you did, love gangsta movies

It's kinda sad that alot of people are going to watch this movie just for Depp. Dillinger is legend, and most the kids today have no idea who he is.
DementedJackson 2 years ago 2
Agreed, although, don't you think that with Johnny Depp's fame, he will help the younger community to realise what a legend Dillinger was?
A lot of people love the tale of Sweeney Todd now.
