It might be worth mentioning that this escalator goes from one tower to the other with nothing absolutely nothing underneath but the pavement. After several minutes of terror, you can enjoy the open air observation deck that straddles the two towers. The building itself looks like two books up on end with another laid across the top.
I was living in the Osaka area when they were still building this skyscraper back in the early ninties. I passed it on the train almost every day and had no idea at first that the tops of the buildings would eventually connect like this to for the Sky Garden. Very cool. I still visit every couple years but have still only stood at the bottom of the building.
