GT3 was an EXCELLENT game, but Forza has become so good. If Gran Turismo is still as good a sim, I'll Drop my case, but right now, Forza is on a roll. I do miss some tracks from GT3 though. Especially the rainy tracks.
@mikeb1444 Have you played GT4 I thought that it was better than FM3, Forza doesn't have enough cars, and not the depth of Gran Turismo. Gran Turismo is as good as a sim racer, and the real game is much improved.
@mikeb1444 No, obviously you can't customize the cars in GT, but the little things like taking your car to get an oil change or to get it washed. Those things in real life make a differance. And also, GT somehow feels special, I had FM3 the limited edition and it still didn't feel special. I don't know how to explain it but mabey you know.
I do like the menu setup and all that with GT. FM3 has too much white. As a second year mechanical engineering student, no modification isn't going to cut it in my book.
@mikeb1444 You do get to upgrade the cars proformance, just not like any body tuning, although you can change the rims and put a spoiler on the car but that's it. But you can tune the car's settings and up the horsepower and put on nitrous.
both of you are fucking retards, GT4 was no drifter, GT5 is ridiculously easy to drift, even to regain control !! you can maneuver yourself outta a fuck up, it's all about the drafting if you can catch up and make up your mistakes
Reeally good man....is it only possible to drift this much with a wheel and the clutch? Cuz I use my pad and no matter what I cant drift for such long distances like u did here
yes, its possible to drift in gt4 even with normal cars... just turn off the driving aids and remember to countersteer and balance the throttle, brakes, etc. ohh and try not to use the e-brake (it makes it harder)
Nice vid iv got the audi tt an I'm savn up for this next in black!

Stop comparing FORZA WITH GT....
OBVIOUSLY GT IS THE BEST!!!!

Does it really simulate driving physics like Forza 2 does, Or is it all just good graphics and Car sounds.
mikeb1444 3 years ago
@mikeb1444 Gran Turismo invented simulated driving games, Forza is like a copy.

What do you mean by "depth"? Do you mean car modification?

Fair enough. I never said it was a bad game, but a lot of games have gone arcadey in the bad way these days.

I use the Pinnacle Dazzle equipment. So you can import directly from your ps3 to your pc. After, you can edit, ad music etc, etc,.. Good luck.

How do you get a on screen recorder for PS3? If you see my vid response, yours is more stable

the bmw z4 is a good drifter, cuz its really easy to control in the corners; but its not as powerful as the 135tii or the M3
topgearnut1989 3 years ago
If you could not drift on gt4 don't expect too on gt5, its not easy.
gox84 3 years ago
well u could if u really try... and using the e brake, makes it worse
julianleeho 3 years ago
LOL, Gran Turismo 4 was horrible for drifting physics.. Learn to drive.

GT5 wasn't out 2 years ago. How did you know how it drifted? LOL
______
Anyways GT5's physics are second to none on consoles.

You need the Wheel. I'm using the logitech driving force pro. Pad won't do, cause you need to modulate the throttle... Good luck.
willemsen01 3 years ago
Thnaks man....Im definetely getting a wheel now
RajmannHD 3 years ago
I didn't have much trouble modulating the throttle with the pad but it would be much easier with a wheel.

is it me or in GT4 it's almost impossible to drift? and does donuts work in GT5?

Not familiar with GT4. But yes donuts work. And all the rest you can do in your normal car......

@PiotrBdg GT4 is hard to drift the cars, do you have all of the drivers aids off?
