i was only 7 yrs old when my dad was deployed to afganistan i remember walking outside with my mom and my dad was standing there it was amazing im 14 now and i never want my dad to go back before i was born he was in panama desert storm and somalia earning a bronze star 2 purple hearts and a navy cross i dont want him to go back

There is no greater sacrifice(s) than the one(s) that our soldiers' make. They have to be able to leave their families so that their family and other families can be able to live in better place. It is a great honor that they do this for us, for that I salute you. Also, everytime I see a soldier, I walk up to them and I firmly shake their and I thank them for what are doing for us. Soldiers and veterans thank so much, and Merry Christmas! I hope you can see your families soon.

Awwe that was so cute the little girl...awwe i definatley got teary eyed. I used to work at an army base making food for them, and its like sometimes the guys would tell us about their family and how they miss them..Im glad that little girl got her wish.
