Not that it really matters, but "he" is almost certainly a "she". In cats the genes for orange and black fur are found on the X chromosome. To have both black and orange fur on the same cat requires two X chromosomes. Females are XX and males are XY except for extremely rare cases when the cat has three chromosomes. Then an XXY male could have both black and orange fur.
But the important part is that this adorable kitty needs a loving home.
It's been more than a month since this video was posted. I can only hope there is at least one worker on the construction site with enough compassion to give this cat a safe home. If an update is available, I sure would appreciate if you, kortedfranela, would post it here.
Please there is any way that you could run a campaign there in the area where this staying so, you could find him a home? I live in London and unfortunately I can not bring him over here. Any chance that you could make a face book profile for him, and spread the word, so people will be able to help him. Please keep me informed with more news about the cat.
