  • best accent ever

  • definately more of a long island accent.but pretty good for your age

  • Wow! that was good!

  • lmaoooo!

  • is she really from NY?

  • cant belive u did that with no laughing! haaha

  • lol cute.

  • Ha ha ha, I'm impressed

  • ahhahaha

  • hilarious, shes so good!

  • it sounds like a mixs of a brooklyn and longisland accent and i know i'm from longisland

  • im trying out for a new york detective in our school play and this is really helping me.

  • love that brooklyn accent

  • I'm from New York City, and personally, I don't think that it's a Boston accent, except for when you say "Cah" instead of "Car". It sounds like more of a Staten Island/Jewish accent, or a mix of a Long Island and Westchester accent. It's like you were talking in this way: "No, I don't TAWK that way" or "I'd like some WAWTA". It's not as "clean cut"... It's kind of a more stereotypical, well known version of a New York accent. That's just my take on it. =)

  • hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot o.o o.o o.o o.o O_O

  • ur lucky ur hott lol

  • aww thnk u

  • and thank u lol

  • i dont get it, isnt boston in new england... and isnt new england a seperate state from new york... hey, i could be wrong here but i'm from the uk am allowed???

  • new england isnt a state, its like a area with a bunch of different states in it.

  • haha. pretty good job with the accent. its really a bit of both. "car" is definately boston, but i don't know about everything else. the "new york" part of the accent is a little too heavy. we don't sound like that in Manhattan, but we do say "cawfee" and "dawg". Funny though. Made me laugh.

  • the only word in that whole thing that was Boston, was 'cah'. FAIL.

  • Mission accomplished!

  • that was good .. hahaha

  • cah

    go fah

    bostonians are gay

  • they are not! new yorkers and bostoners have cool accents!! i love them!

  • And we love you too.

    :)

  • its like a weird mix of the two

  • i was lost after i pressed play

  • Booooo

this isnt boston or New York, I'm a new yorker and my friend is from Boston, and NEITHER of us sound like that

  • ...

    Then don't watch it.

  • maybe your friend isnt really from boston... i would have a chat with them about that and clarify their residential detials, if they say they are from boston you could try slapping them round the cheek with your driving glove and repeat the question until they tell you what you need to know

  • we actually weren't sure if it was a boston or new york accent. We thought it was new york but then people here starting flipping out that its actually a boston.

  • im from boston, that's definiitely more new york (except for when you say car). great job

  • Amy... Why don't you change the title to crazy accent.

It's obvously not working either way.

    Just a suggestion though.

I wanna kick myself for telling you to call it NY accent.

  • Seriously wow.

It dosent matter what accent it is.

    this is a steriotype accnet.okayy

i know this was just for fun but really no one up there talks like that yeah some people from boston do but wow.

  • U guys ah stupid the bahstin accent is awesome. ok. dont make fun of weah people come from. u guys have the worst accent ever. stupid new york accent. oh and NJnetsfan5152433 ur gay cause boston is not gay

  • amazing dog...

  • Yes.

  • that's awsome.. that was very intimidating to listen to..

  • Hell NO every day New York is always trying to separate from Boston.

    Car

    NYC: core

    Gay Bostonian accent: caaah

    Coffee

    NYC: cawfee

    Gay Bostonian accent: caaaahfeee

    U get the point. :)

  • No. Core is not CAR idiot.

  • that's how i say it :) Well most of the time i say "car" but sometimes i pronounce it like "core"

  • a boston accent is very different from a new york accent.

  • What's the difference?

  • hey u dumbasses i form new york and they say coffee like cawfee im from long island and ur right they dont say caw but when they say car the say the r not all the way but partially

  • Learn to spell with proper grammar, learn to take a joke, and chill out, mkay?

We did not mean to offend anybody by any means.

If this offended you, then just don't watch it.

Yea, give me a million thumbs down.

    Like I could care less.

Just don't go calling people dumbasses (Not an actual word btw.) It makes you sound ignorant.

  • lolol. over exaggeration much?

  • I live in New York and I have never heard anyone ever pronounce car "caawh" or coffee "cawfee", unless they were from Boston.

    Get your accents rights.

  • I am Dutch guy I cant even hear the differences in American languages

But americans are hard to understand cause they always shout and overdo things and speak to fast

  • I agree...i am American but i think English is the weirdest/hardest language.

  • it seems that you've never gone across the Arabic. Can u imagine that the Lion has more than 1500 names in arabic. they don't use all these names but they can use any of them anytime and anyhow while lion in english is lion. There is a saudi region that when its people talk, they can't be understood even by saudis. Really, Arabic and I heard that Chineese is also hard to learn.

  • Actually im learning chinese right now and i find it easier than a lot of languages because normally you don't have to conjugate anything and there are few rules. But it is hard to pronounce sometimes and it takes longer to learn because the writing is very different than english.

  • nice! im learning chinese! - say are the girl talking in the vid or filmimg?

  • typo --- say are you* the girl talking in the vid or filming*?

  • filming

  • Quick question... Would you consider Bridget and I then?

    Supervisors?

  • Hah. Im Chinese and im learning English and english is easier than Chinese/Mandarin (Possibly because english is really my first language but wtf)

  • It's kind of overdone, no one in New York really speaks that way.

  • lol as a brit i found that very funny - i wanna learn a new york accent

  • I say coffee like that.

  • o wow chi-chi do u see how many ppl love you lol amy can u believe this!!!

  • at the very end she says she has a scratched up hummer and still no coffee....but actually, in the story she had a PORSH not a HUMMER....you said the hummer was wrecked already by the husband....

  • you sound stupid..I was born and raised in the bronx leave the accent to true New Yorkers.

  • She was born and raised in New York as well.

Sheesh. Can nobody in America take a joke?

  • thats not even close to new york accent... havent heard somebody talk like that... Only you.

  • That's the point.

  • When you say "car" you say it with a Boston accent, not a NY accent

  • 10 seconds into it i was like wow....nobody in ny sounds like that...lol

  • where is this girl from anyways? cuz she must not no a new york accent very well so she must not be from anywhere in the north east...

  • the mom from the movie "Matilda" talked like that

    =)

  • She's from New York.

  • insulting??

you laugh to stand up comedians making fun of every other accent and race. so this is insulting?

for the rest of the world- americans have an american accent. believe it or not. and yeah, they all sound alike.

  • if your saying "cah" that's a new england accent. and this is insulting.

  • how would you say car in a new york accent then?

  • That's just great.

Now explain this to me: Everyone of us (The four people that were there when the video was made and one other person that helped edit) is from New York. We can just laugh at ourselves. If anyone REALLY talks like that, then just wow. And I've been to New England. No one talks like that there either, so chill. Okay? Sheesh.

  • um...i find this video affencive cuz my family is originally from new york and let me just say that is probley about the most pahetic attempt at a new york accent sorry but she mite not even try...

  • sorry to offend you but it was just a joke. We know no one really talks like that we just thought that the sound was funny.

  • Just to add, we actually are from New York. We just have the ability to have a sense of irony.

  • well, originally my family is from new york and that was not a very good attempt at a new york accent sorry...she sounds like she's tryen to hard!

  • Daughter = Dwouda

    Dog = Dwog

    Lol funny vid

  • OMG I LOVE YOUR FRIEND!!!!!! ♥♥♥ TELL HER TO DO MORE VIDEOS MORE VIDEOS! ♥♥♥ She has one fan;)

  • I wish she had an account... But she says thanks so much!

  • wow this is like on of the only NICE comments. Thx 4 watching!

  • Your so welcome i love New York Accents my family friends are from NY i love the way they talk.

  • We should totally make more of Theresa.

She made ME do an accent, and if you want to see me make an idiot of myself (which I know u always enjoy) watch it.

  • wow theresa

  • when you say "car" you dont say it like a new yorker you say it like your from boston.

  • cwoffee was way better

  • That's just great?

  • Accent was good, joke sucked.

  • omg you dont have to watch this!!!!!

  • Huh? lol

  • well dont watch it than

  • hahahaha! that was sooo funny like that gyal off of friends...i have an american accent/ antiguan/carribean accent and most ppl say i sound american im like its becus i kinda used to live there but anyway^^

  • That's an Italian American New York accent, not an official NY accent. Puerto Ricans, blacks, dominicans, asains, ect have their own little way of speaking english in NY. You just sound like an italian from Staten Island. New York is very diverse, so not everyone is going to speak with an Italian NY accent.

  • Not even.

I hate when people equate "NY Accent" with being "Italian." Wrong. It's Italian American. Italians who speak English sound nothing like that.

  • hey stupid she is 100% italian

she was trying to have a ny accent

    i know

  • That's not a NY accent, it's more like a Staten Island accent or an old school Brooklyn accent, which are both italian american influenced. A Dominican from Washngton Heights doens't talk like that, an Asian from Flushing doesn't talk like that, a Mexican from sunset park doesn't talk like that, ect, and they're all New Yorkers. Come ride the train in NY anyday and listen to how people speak, you will see that most will not speak like that, seriously.

  • LOOK.....this was a joke with me and my friends.....DO U EVEN KNOW WHAT ITALIAN LOOKS LIKE....SHE IS 100% ITALIAN....so if u have common sense(dont comment kasey) you will know that it is a joke....WOW CONGRATS...you know now know the difference between italian and new york.

  • ... DAMN IT!

I had such a good comeback for it too.

    *pouts*

But for a crazy chick, Rinker is right you guys... Theresa is 150% (if possible) Italian and was born and raised in NY. You know nothing about her, so keep the random comments to yourself... Oh and to stop confusion... She doesn't really talk like that (obviously) she's just trying to be her random funny self. If you found this offencive, sorry I came up with the title. The word irony comes to mind because of it...

  • the way u say car is a boston accent

  • Are you meant to be from Brooklyn?

  • She's trying to be the 'innocent- yet- funny girl that can do cool stuff with her voice.'

  • ha! i love it.

  • Cawfee and dawg might sound New York but not the way you say car.

  • for the last effin time, i've seen so many of these bad impersonations of new york accents, and we do no sound like that. new jersey girls sound like that

  • For the last effn' time. WE LIVE ON NY! The girl in the vid can do something cool with her voice! The title was my idea though. It was either that or Boston Accent. I thought it would be more ironic if it was NY though.

  • hey kasey

  • yep

  • lol yea to the comment below, they way you say car sounds more bostonish

  • we dont say 'cahhh'

were new yorkers, not people from boston

  • Tis a joke.

    We know.

  • I like it, you're funny. I'm from Yonkers and we talk like this kind of only not as harsh.

  • um thts like an itialin accent and we dont stretch out da cahhhh dat much buu yeah thts pretti good

  • i know she is awsome and my best friend!!!

  • Please don't kill me.

  • really good

  • that was the best. u should be famous. omgizzle

  • was bridget their?

  • She was.

We were talking in the background.

  • uhm cool:) but that's not quite the accent that people use to talk in New York.

  • If you want, you can check out our other vids and see how us New Yorkers really talk.

  • ha ha t

  • i seen a video similar to this, whats with these girls, coffee, and dogs. lol

  • lol you have never been to new york have you? Don't believe everything you see on the t.v. and internet.

  • No. We never visited NY. WE LIVE IN IT! Seriously. We do. We can just laugh at our selves.

  • U got more of a italian mafia accent, but us new Yorkas don't use some of the vocabulary that u use... "like"....

  • omg wow look how many comments u got chi chi thats amazing we have to do this again!!!

  • Totally.

Only this time, YOU should do the accent!

    xD

  • this is kinda like the italian mafia accent

  • Caaah.. very funny and very cute:) I lived in NY for 4 years.

  • hahahaha that was great :D . Actually the girl has a pretty sweet & charming face .That makes it a pleasure to watch :)

  • Add innocence to it

  • The girl in it told me to tell you thanks!

  • im from long island nd i havent heard no1 talk like dat. da closest thing 2 dat is wen da old people in their 50s-60s talk

  • its a good joke but we dont sound like that

  • Lol.. NYers don't speak like that. It's too exaggerated. lol Also we don't say "Like" after every word. LMAO... it's still funny though. Especially about the dog. Good Try tho.

  • yo!!

    i'm a brooklyn guy

    we don's speak like that..

    but anyway that's funny lol

  • LOL Cawfee

  • Cawfee= italian mafia accent

Coffee= (pron-> Kofee- kinda sound the english)

    kinda looks like that

  • LOL

Italian mafia is cool too :p

Maybe its too much GTA for good measure.

  • we dont all talk like that lol but good job haha

  • Thats more of a Staten/Long Island accent, tho the "cah" is more boston. I'm from Queens and we don't talk like that.

  • We know.

Lived in Queens for three years.

    Tis all stereotyped I'm afarid.

    :D

  • i'm from lone island. can i get a cup of koffee?

  • Yes you can. ^_^

  • the way u pronouced dog, coffe, etc... is right on point.. but other than that... us NYers dont talk like that ... but that is a good laff

  • haha funny. but here and there it mixes in with a boston accent.

  • thats a broklyn accent x]

  • I was born and raised in ny and i neverr herd that accent ever its crazy...the closet to that accent i've noticed is staten island in ny there similar but not like that lol

  • that was bad. I live in new york and i havent ever come across somebody who sounds like that

  • Well... it doesn't matter because this is just a joke. Hey, you might as well give her props for being able to do something entertaining with her voice.

  • I love how there's a -1 on that. All I said was it doesn't matter if she's doing the 'accent' right. She 's just doing her random thing. I feel the need for whenever someone makes an obnoxious comment, I need to sound like a jerk. I think I acomplished that. xD Eh, so sue me for having a sense of humor.

  • good job. plus 1

  • I don't deserive a plus one on that, but um, thanks.

I am being a total jerk... and I'm really not.

I just feel kind of bad for my friends because they're getting some pretty harsh comments.

So, if I act like a jerk, maybe they'll leave them alone?

  • LMFAO!!!! this is funny! she's good!

  • Teehee: ,I think its funny that you are a fat bloated piece of dog shit with no life.

  • I think it's funny that you think standing up for your friend (I'm not the one in this. I can't do squat with my voice, it's all squeaky and annoying.) is a crime. And once again... I'm not the one leaving nasty comments on a vid. Yes. I admit... I have no life... But that gives you no right to be harsh. Our friend is very nice and is not fat at all. So you can just take your nasty remarks and go else where. This conversation is over.

  • OMG you sound just like my aunt Laura she lives in long island and sounds like that XDDDD your very good at it lolllll

  • that's long island, not the Italian/Jewish/Irish of classic Manhattan new york.

  • what a retard. long walk, short pier!

  • I think that it is funny that you take the time to openly make fun of a teenage girl, who is very talented with accents, and not realize that this is a joke.

  • i know its a joke and i wasn't making fun of her... :< i said she was good at it because she's good at it, I wasn't trying to be mean...*sulks*

  • ... I'm sorry. I'm just over protective of my friend... And not to be mean or anything but... You never posted here... Ever. What's going on?

*Side note to Amy* You must think I'm a freak for posting here so damn much.

  • i just sort of looked up "new york accent" and found this video and decided to post a comment lol...^^ I'll check out your friends other videos though heheh

  • Yay!

    I'm not usually this stupid.

    Only sometimes.

    Glad you liked it.

I'll be sure to tell T.

    *The one in it.*

I'm sitting behind her talking about my long life dream of becoming a pryomaniac.

  • im from Ny...some ppl talk lyk that...buh no one says car the way you did...that how some ppl in boston say it.

  • Yes... Well our friend T could explain that very- "RUN AND HIDE!"

  • hahahhahahaha

  • Honestly... That was the best comment that wasn't sent by someone that Bridget yelled at, or one of our friends from school. Thank you for being able to take a joke.

  • ok i know who the smiley person is so dont worry she was going to all different vids and writing mean comments so i yelled at her so no need to worry BRIDGET TO THE RESCUE!(does superman pose)

  • Aw, Bridgetkinz. *Runs to find camera so I can take pics of that pose and use it as black mail.* Lol. I think we need to clear this up: We. Are. NOT. Dissing. NY. Way to go Bridget! *cough KINZ cough* ^_^

  • Go Bridgiekinz

  • yah jk its really good u rock good laugh awesome

    sorry no coffee

  • this was very stupid i live in ny and i dont talk like that u r a disgrace to all ny people how dare u

  • Yikes! Dude, did you notice that we're kids? No need to curse. It's really an inside joke. Trust me no New Yorker (But Roseann from Hell's kitchen.) talks like that. It was a joke! It was not meant to be offencive, we really just were trying to show random people one of the weird accents that our friends could make. Sheesh.

  • hey im a kid too im only fourteen chill i was just kidding

  • Sorry. I'm weird. Don't listen to me.

  • no im wierd to
