  • God is not here to satisfy our plans and our desires. But instead we are here to satisfy His plans. God is not your personal caddy to be used conveniently to fetch your wants and needs. Stop telling God what He can do for you but rather ask God what you can do for Him. People Please wake up!!! You need to turn away from stinking SIN and give God of your very best. Spend time in a personal intimate relationship with God in prayer, worship & bible study. Don't just seek His Hand but Seek His Face!

  • And Jesus saith: I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one cometh unto the father but by me. -John3:16

  • BUENOS DIAS!!!

  • Wow my heart goes out to those who posted such hurtful negative comments; You are loved beyond your own understanding. You are not the sum of your past mistakes. You are not defined by anything other than the Lord's love for you. A love that was with you before you were even born and is unconditional.

  • Amazing. These are by far the least "Christian" comments I've seen anywhere on Youtube.

  • Is using a laugh track being deceiving?

  • Why are there so many people who are anti Christian on here when this is obviously a Christian preacher?

  • @jakedizzle That I understand, but I just don't understand why people who aren't Christian feel the need to bash Christians.

  • @eyesgirlx6x9 to make you mother fuckers realize how sick you are, it really makes me sick when you guys think your better than everyone and then your 'preists" are mollesting little boys GOD HATE QUEERS DONT HE? you guys are pathetic and i will walk with satan you fuckin faggits are devils in disguise

  • @eyesgirlx6x9 your stupid we anti christian are not.. that's the thing

  • @mlm74799 Funny that I'm stupid when my IQ is 133? Thank you for informing me! I will make sure to tell my gifted teacher that I can no longer be in the program because someone on youtube told me I am stupid!

  • Jesus said "Shalom!", not "Buenos Dias"...

  • Look, I know Jesus Christ PERSONALLY- I have the gift of speaking to him as a spiritual medium almost every day- let me tell you he is still fine speaker, always inspiring me to change my corrupt life for the better.

However, he is angered by false prophets proclaiming him as the ‘Son of God’- he says he never made ANY such claim, he was an inspired preacher but just a mortal man nontheless. He disowns all who call themselves ‘Christians’- people should look only to themselves for salvation.

  • @SuperTruth77 ??? Ay do you now?

  • @SuperTruth77 its ok everyone when was a little child had imaginary friend

  • @SuperTruth77 Faggot alert.

  • @nelog1967 If God is like what you think he's like, I am glad I don't believe in him

  • @nelog1967 I agree it's sad how the Devil has Blinded the minds of the fools...

  • @LondonKuzz

Just read the Bible. May God cleanse your dirty heart and dirty minds!!

  • @LondonKuzz

Its you. He probably reminds you of someone who got you.

  • This is totally out of order! He is a great speaker! That is all!

  • Would anyone else pay to see Osteen discuss the Bible with someone like John Piper or John Mcaurthur??? Cause I sure would. He wouldnt know what to do lol. He would just have a funny grin on his face.

  • christain god Jesus christ will rule the earth in future, his kingdom comes. This is 110% sure thing.

  • @CynicalSkeptic As a whole, I don't think Christians "claim" that there is God, as specific to its definition, but rather simply say that they believe in the existence of God. I don't know which Christians you've met, but the ones I know have always stressed about it as a personal choice, just as there are a minority who take Jediism quite literally. So then, the claimant position actually falls on to the atheist, who claims there is no God, and thus is their responsibility to prove it.

  • Just re-read through what I wrote and it didn't exactly come out the way I had it thought up in my mind. Basically, what I'm saying is, is that the notion of proving or disproving God and His existence is dependent on a particular angle. And the Christians that I know have held the angle that the entire thing comes down to a personal choice. The option is there. The need for proving does not exist, as this is a point a singular individual has to arrive at their own free will, without influence.

  • @phoenixfire87 Sir, extraordinary claims REQUIRE extraordinary evidence. Atheists aren't making any extraordinary claims....they are REJECTING the extraordinary claim that religious zealots adhere to...

I clearly indicated specifically why it is the responsibility of the claimant to prove THEIR claim. I can only provide the evidence....and apparently it is your job to ignore it.

  • @CynicalSkeptic1 Nonsense. When one asserts "there is no god", you have made an assertion you need to prove. God's existence cannot be proved or disproved at this point, so it is nonsensical. Your language (religious zealots) shows you are a zealot. Be careful when battling monsters that you do not become a monster.

  • @kenfo0 "When one asserts "there is no god", you have made an assertion you need to prove."

NO SIR. As I clearly explained...the burden of proof is upon the claimant....just as in a court of law. If you claim that a god exists...then it certainly isn't MY responsibility to disprove YOUR CLAIM.

Otherwise, we would be saddled with the reponsibility of disproving the THOUSANDS of gods which man has invented throughout the ages.

Did you disprove those? Remember, it is YOUR responsibility.

  • @CynicalSkeptic1 why did you feel the need to spam me with several posts, 5 months late? You think you are "witty", but you are not. Saying "There is no God" is a positive assertion one would need to prove. There is no way around it, simpleton. Please go spam someone else with your nonsense. I read the first two lines of the above post (abject nonsense), and trashed everything else. Grow up, kid.

  • @kenfo0 The reason for the delayed response is that your emails when in my junk folder. (how appropriate)

Of course you "trashed everything else"....because it is easier to utilize RBGs (religious blinding goggles) and ignore any contradictory evidence when you are attempting to maintain delusional religious belief.

It truly doesn't matter if you ignored my posts....my target audience is actually for the people who are "on the fence" religiously and peruse these comment sections.

  • @CynicalSkeptic1 you are an insolent little boy, nothing else. You were already dis-invited from whining at me, and yet here you are again. Your posts were in no way intellectual or rational. You simply stamp your feet and whine "you have to prove to me God exists". I must do no such thing. You made the affirmation "there is no God". Prove it. Can't? Then shut your mouth, boy.

  • @kenfo0

    1) I don't "whine" and I also couldn't care less if you "dis-invited" me.

    2) You stated in your last comment that you "trashed everything else" except for two lines of one comment...so how could you possibly state that "Your posts were in no way intellectual or rational"?

Which is it? Were you lying in your last comment when you said you didn't read them...or are you lying now when you admitted that you did read them?

  • @kenfo0 Lastly, I did offer information that disproved the biblical god...(the ones where you lied and said you hadn't read them). An omniscient "Creator" wouldn't have contradictions and inaccuracies in the "unerring word of God". Obviously if your god did exist...he doesn't care if his holy book is accurate.

Also, why do you find it necessary to insult me?...you called me "an insolent little boy"...normally only adolescents resort to name calling. Are insults a normal part of your debate?

  • @phoenixfire87 Your statement is basically correct. Anyone who says "there is no god" is making an assertion they must prove, just as if someone states "there is a god", the burden is on them. It is truly nonsensical, however, in that neither can be proven at this time.

  • You guys are fucking brainwashed or completely simple idiots who are cling to something for hope.

  • A man walks up to a child selling kittens and the child says "They are Christian kittens.". The man laughs and walks away.

A week later, walking down the same street with his girlfriend, he sees the child and says "Oh, this is so cute...". They walk up and the man asks the child about the kittens. The child says "They are Atheist kittens.". The man says "What? I was here a week ago and you said they were Christian kittens.". The child says "I know...but now their eyes are open.".

  • @CynicalSkeptic1

  • @UallMine The only problem with your analogy is that one side believes in fairy tales and logical fallacies....while the other side rejects belief in such lunacy. It would be quite apparent whose 'eyes are open' since only ONE side views the subject with an objective perspective which isn't relying on religious bias.

  • @CynicalSkeptic1 What objective evidence can you provide that proves the Christian God is a fairy tale.

  • @UallMine You asked "What objective evidence can you provide that proves the Christian God is a fairy tale.".

The Bible would appear to have numerous stories which would be similar in their level of absurdity as many fairy tales. If the same apparent validity (or lack thereof) is to be placed on the biblical God...then he would also appear to be an 'imaginary being' (I will try to refrain from saying 'fairy tales' since you may find it offensive).

  • @Cynical you think yourself bright, but are not. "God" is not "tha bybul". Angry, insolent people like you never get that. Further, it is typical of atheists to whine about Christians, yet take their "proof" from the Old Testament. It is irrelevant. The only issue is "why is cynicalskeptic so heavily invested in attacking others' beliefs and what drives his angry rhetoric". You should study long and hard on that, instead of desperately googling around to "prove" what cannot be proven.

  • @kenfo0 You said "Further, it is typical of atheists to whine about Christians, yet take their "proof" from the Old Testament. It is irrelevant."

NO SIR. The Old Testament is part of the Bible...just because many Christians prefer to ignore it is immaterial. The Old Testament doesn't disappear because it is ignored or euphemistically interpreted.

  • @kenfo0 "You should study long and hard on that, instead of desperately googling around to "prove" what cannot be proven."

Sir, the biblical god's existence can easily be disproven. The theory of evolution completely disproves the fable of Creation. No Creation = No original sin = No need for Yahweh/Jesus' malodorous cloud of self-sacrificing effluvium.

Also, the earth isn't geocentric, sin doesn't cause disease, and leprosy cleansing doesn't result from the "sprinkling of bird's blood".

  • @kenfo0 The Bible is filled with a veritable plethora of contradictions and inaccuracies so it obviously couldn't have been created by an omniscient "supreme being".

Here are some web sites for you to peruse:

    infidels(dot)org/library/modern/jim_meritt/bible-contradictions(dot)html

    thethinkingatheist(dot)com/page/bible-contradictions

    skepticsannotatedbible(dot)com/contra/by_name(dot)html

  • @kenfo0 Lastly, here is an article from Christplagiarized(dot)com for you to peruse:

Scientists had to suffer torture, silencing, imprisonment and death at the hands of Christians who didn't agree with newly discovered facts about the world. Christianity lost the first battle with astronomers who realized that, contrary to what Christians asserted, the Sun did not orbit the Earth, and that the Universe doesn't seem to be designed specifically for humankind.

  • @UallMine Also, there is no need for an Atheist to provide evidence that 'God does not exist'. Atheists are not making any claims. Unless you are stating that disbelief is a claim...in which case we would also have to prove other things DON'T exist such as the Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, Bigfoot, leprechauns, purple gnomes on the moon, an "invisible dragon in your garage" (Google that one), etc.... There would literally be an infinite list of things to disprove.

  • @UallMine Additionally, the burden of proof falls upon the claimant; and the more extraordinary a claim, the heavier is the burden of proof demanded. Not only is it your reponsibility to prove your claim...but it is also much easier to prove a 'positive' than a 'negative'. If you actually do have extraordinary evidence that your God exists...please exhibit this evidence so it may be scrutinized.

  • @UallMine Also, claiming that an omnipotent God who created the ENTIRE UNIVERSE and performs miracles and listens to 'prayers' and is actually concerned with a relatively insignificant life form on a tiny planet in 'his' immense creation...is INCREDIBLY ARROGANT. It would be similar to a bacterium believing that a human was concerned for his welfare...but the difference would be infinitely greater.

  • @UallMine I would certainly agree with you that the possibility exists that a 'supreme being' may have created the universe and the trillions of stars and planets in it.....but I cannot imagine that a being so powerful and ingenius had anything to do with the stories of the Bible.

  • @CynicalSkeptic1 I don't have extraordinary evidence that my God exists. I'm assuming you knew that. I asked you "what objective evidence can you provide that proves the Christian God is a fairy tale" I didn't get objective evidence expect you claiming that the biblical God appears to be "imaginary". I don't think fairy tales are real, and I do sense some biblical stories are far-fetched. I would have to admit my primary reasons for believing in God are correlated with subjectivity.

  • @UallMine I have so much respect for you right now. I expected your response to be what I have found typical of most Christians...to completely dismiss or ignore my information. I am truly impressed that you admitted that the stories from the Bible seem 'far-fetched' and also that you had no 'extraordinary evidence'. Many Christians insist on the validity of biblical stories and that the Bible is the 'extraordinary evidence'.

  • @UallMine My lack of belief in the existence of your God is not 100% certain. I am just stating that until material evidence is provided that would point towards that existence....there is no reason for me to take a 'leap of faith' (no offense intended). I would be much more inclined to believe that a supreme being created the universe if his existence were excluded from the ridiculous and malevolent events in the Bible.

  • @UallMine One point you might consider...if you were born in the Middle East then you would almost assuredly be worshipping Allah...if you were born in Denmark at the time of the Vikings then Thor or Wotan would be your God. There are thousands of gods throughout the ages that you DON'T believe in...you probably only believe in the Christian God because it was your parent's religious belief and/or where you were born. Think about that....

  • @UallMine Anyhow, I hate to be redundant but you are clearly an impressive individual. I don't think I ever had a Christian admit that his "primary reasons for believing in God are correlated with subjectivity". Your view of reality (in spite of your religious beliefs) is refreshing. I wish you the best in your religion...and I truly hope that I didn't offend you with any of my comments.

    Peace

  • @CynicalSkeptic1 Thank you very much, and I wish the best for you too.

  • @CynicalSkeptic1 That's all I got to say.

  • this brother has inspired me

  • @LetJimiT8keOver Changeless truths are "laughable"? Do you always block comments that you feel threatened by?

  • @LetJimiT8keOver Again, you are inaccurate with language. Everyone sometimes needs to clarify, but you are consistently inaccurate. The "argument" would not exist, perhaps, but the topic would. If you were to discuss religion, faith, and God with someone who, like yourself, does NOT believe, you would still be acknowledging it. Also, your lack of faith dulls your ability to seriously discuss these topics. People who patently dislike something or don't practice something lack the skills to do so.

  • @LetJimiT8keOver You'll "roll with it"? Thanks for being so flexible! I disprove your flimsy theory and you'll "roll with it". Your opinion of religion, faith, and God IS an interpretation. And it is without validity because it places man, not God, as the sole arbiter. The 20th century is strewn with the wreckage of your line of thinking. The Soviet Union would have been Club Med for someone like you, with no human being having any more dignity or value than what a bureau decides.

  • @LetJimiT8keOver No confusion on my end, but you are confused --- you ARE acknowledging religion. You may not practice it, but it is highly inaccurate for you to say that something is "non-existent to" you when you spend this much time and effort thinking about it and debating about it. Of course it exists to you. You are very inaccurate in your attempts to phrase your thoughts. You couldn't even clarify your thoughts in your last post and had to make a second attempt here.

  • @LetJimiT8keOver You pretend to be involved in a discussion of a topic, and then feign some exemption because you claim your comments are not "within religion". That is some bullshit debate technique. In my comment above, I disprove your criticism by simply quoting you. You said all interpretations of religion are equally valid. Yours and mine are both interpretations. You interpret it as all being false. I interpret it differently. You contradict your reasoning by saying I'm wrong but I don't.

  • @LetJimiT8keOver So then you agree with my point --- your interpretation of religion (one of the "all" that you refer to) has zero validity.

  • @LetJimiT8keOver It's very weird that, according to Aphradonis and perhaps to you also, that all (mis)interpretations of Christianity are equally valid except those interpretations that YOU disagree with (like mine for example). You call my view on the world "distorted" and "rooted in delusion". That doesn't sound very intellectually open-minded of you.

  • That intro was pretty gay.

  • Joel Osteen does not preach Christianity.

  • @soverysneaky There are hundreds of interpretations of Christianity. No single one is more valid than the other; it's like arguing over what is and isn't canonical in the Star Wars Expanded Universe. Is God a woman or a man? Which Clone Wars timeline is valid? Will the Rapture occur, and if it will, will it be pre, mid, or post Tribulation? Did Han shoot first?

  • @Aphradonis WRONG! There is the correct interpretation and there is heresy. The fact that you somehow try to find a parallel to this in the Star Wars series tells me all
