@CynicalSkeptic As a whole, I don't think Christians "claim" that there is God, as specific to its definition, but rather simply say that they believe in the existence of God. I don't know which Christians you've met, but the ones I know have always stressed about it as a personal choice, just as there are a minority who take Jediism quite literally. So then, the claimant position actually falls on to the atheist, who claims there is no God, and thus is their responsibility to prove it.
Just re-read through what I wrote and it didn't exactly come out the way I had it thought up in my mind. Basically, what I'm saying is, is that the notion of proving or disproving God and His existence is dependent on a particular angle. And the Christians that I know have held the angle that the entire thing comes down to a personal choice. The option is there. The need for proving does not exist, as this is a point a singular individual has to arrive at their own free will, without influence.

@CynicalSkeptic As a whole, I don't think Christians "claim" that there is God, as specific to its definition, but rather simply say that they believe in the existence of God. I don't know which Christians you've met, but the ones I know have always stressed about it as a personal choice, just as there are a minority who take Jediism quite literally. So then, the claimant position actually falls on to the atheist, who claims there is no God, and thus is their responsibility to prove it.

Just re-read through what I wrote and it didn't exactly come out the way I had it thought up in my mind. Basically, what I'm saying is, is that the notion of proving or disproving God and His existence is dependent on a particular angle. And the Christians that I know have held the angle that the entire thing comes down to a personal choice. The option is there. The need for proving does not exist, as this is a point a singular individual has to arrive at their own free will, without influence.

You may not practice it, but it is highly inaccurate for you to say that something is "non-existent to" you when you spend this much time and effort thinking about it and debating about it. Of course it exists to you. You are very inaccurate in your attempts to phrase your thoughts. You couldn't even clarify your thoughts in your last post and had to make a second attempt here.

That is some bullshit debate technique. In my comment above, I disprove your criticism by simply quoting you. You said all interpretations of religion are equally valid. Yours and mine are both interpretations. You interpret it as all being false. I interpret it differently. You contradict your reasoning by saying I'm wrong but I don't.

@LetJimiT8keOver It's very weird that, according to Aphradonis and perhaps to you also, that all (mis)interpretations of Christianity are equally valid except those interpretations that YOU disagree with (like mine for example). You call my view on the world "distorted" and "rooted in delusion". That doesn't sound very intellectually open-minded of you.

@soverysneaky There are hundreds of interpretations of Christianity. No single one is more valid than the other; it's like arguing over what is and isn't canonical in the Star Wars Expanded Universe. Is God a woman or a man? Which Clone Wars timeline is valid? Will the Rapture occur, and if it will, will it be pre, mid, or post Tribulation? Did Han shoot first?
