Nothing against the live versions, love them, but im trying to find the studio version that used to be on you tube and since the update I cant :( i wanna learn it so if any one can tell me why its gone id love to knopw thx ppl
I can't believe someone other than me in Canada has heard of Ian Moore!!! omg I love muddy Jesus. But I must say Colin James has been my favorite for 21 years!!!!
Saw the show last night in Calgary - an awesome performance. The newest stuff is fantastic. Amazing - rockin' bluesy, r&b-ish, soulful - his best stuff in a while, and his stuff is hard to top. See this show! The band is tight, horns are sharp and smooth, never a dull moment. I see him every time he comes through and I'm very glad I caught this show, as his playing is incredible right now.
doyle isnt really that good, the best leads on the Arc Angels record was Charlie Sexton. Ian Moore was great, but then he turned to fag rock and gave up the blues. Right now Davey Knowles from Back Door Slam (UK) and Derek Trucks (USA) are the best out there. Knowles can sing his ass off, so watch for him to be the next SRV-CJ-Healey.
The guy just keeps getting better and better... you canucks are so lucky to have him.. we have nobody in the USA anymore this good since Stevie died :(
RIP Jeff Healey too, he was the other side of the triangle for me (CJ/SRV/JH)
Colin is great! Stevie was absolutely great and I miss his presence! Ironically, there is a story I heard when Stevie needed some back up uitar at a show somewhere in Canada, I think it was in Toronto. Anyhow it was aid that he asked Colin to accompany him on stage. That would be the ultimate honor or any guiar layer!
SRV did more than that.. he flew CJ to Texas and showed him around, helped him get a USA record deal. CJ was SRV's protege and the first "up and comer" to get his help (As opposed to the old guys that were forgotten till SRV brought them back to the big stage)

Colin is great but in the USA you guys have Doyle Bramhall 2 & Ian Moore not to mention countless others that are great .. just not famous.
