1)We did teach it once, but you gotta understand why. We were all moving west and there were a lot of widows and children who had no one to go with because their husbands had been killed because of persecution, so the guys had multiple wives.

@madcowan Well, Mormons do read the bible, and it is part of their core doctrine. Joseph Smith never said to marry as many women as you can. Not just the guys can be gods. Its a partnership with both spouses. The guy doesn't decide if the woman gets to go to heaven. And if Mormonism is a cult, then so is Catholicism, Judism, and every other religion.

Are you telling me U.S census is completely inaccurate as well as your prophet's opinion? Polygamy was practiced in the Bible but never commanded by God. Whenever polygamy occurred it always ended up damaging the people to were involved with it. God designed marriage for one man and one woman. Man was the one who distorted this.

This is an outright lie!

The United States census records from 1850 to 1940, and all available Church records, uniformly show a preponderance of MALES in Utah, and in the Church. Indeed, the excess in Utah has usually been larger than for the whole United States,...Orson Pratt, writing in 1853 from direct knowledge of Utah conditions, when the excess of females was supposedly the highest, declares against the opinion that females out numbered the males in Utah. There was NO surplus of women.

What do you think of the fact that the illustrations from the Book of Abraham looks exactly like a million other Egyptian scrolls except for in the missing places that Joseph filled in with cartoon heads?

@LDS4life121 Where is there any evidence for that in the historical LDS records? The only things I've ever read is that it is a dictated by God and that it was a COMMAND! Also, show me the census data for that time.
