I saw a guy take a small amount of pine resin an rub it up the yucca string before making it into cordage, can't remember the reason or purpose of that though.

@PkSage89 = I'm thinking it will help bind the cordage together better. The finished cordage is slick, so the resin would help hold knots in place. Will have to try it out.

Those flake scars look just like the ones on the 'old black stuff' we used to find in NM. Nice job!

What a difference two years can make! The finished point is beautiful, has lenticular cross section, beautiful flaking. That Yucca cordage is awesome strong-thanks for putting this up...Stew
