Any good ideas for me to use chopsticks? I got 110 centimeters long hair (Roughly from forehead to longest strand)? Q_Q I would really like to try it!
you can use chopsticks(and any other similarly shaped object) as a hairstick but in asia that would be looked down upon as chopsticks are for eating. So it's mostly a western thing to use actual chopsticks as hairsticks
wow. it's so easy to do! i just managed to do this FOR THE FIRST TIME with a paintbrush. didn't have chopsticks within reach so i used a paintbrush haha
Notice how she doesn't turn around, because it is unstable and looks terrible. <rolling eyes> I have yet to see a single video by this channel that had anything of worth.
@aaurantia Although you might not like her videos, I know that Demand Studios pays these presenters about 200 dollars to do these. I would suggest applying if you have better tips and techniques.
ahaha, it looks kinda nice, but I wouldn't put a fork in my hair either....unless I need later on, but dun wanna carry it with my hand till I use it, ah? ;D
yeah... this is shitty... her hair is NOT going to stay in because she didn't get it twisted right to begin with... Expertvillage has bad style taste and instructions
The insertion of the chopsticks was nicely done but you didn't show how to twist your hair up. For someone who doesn't know how to twist their hair before using the chopsticks, showing the insertion of them is useless.
What you do is make sure you have strong chopsticks and make sure, when you twist the chopsticks and shove them back in, you move any hair in the way with your fingers. I'm black with long hair and -I- can do it, you can, too, you just have to practice.
Thank you SO much for making these tutorial videos! I recently started growing my hair out after 4 years of keeping it short, and your videos have really helped me figure out ways to do things with my hair beyond "ponytail" and "down." Thank you so much again, these are insanely helpful.
well an easier way is to just put your hair up in a messy bun like normal and then just stick em in lol it's obviously going to hold better that way =)

My Japanese friend asked me why we put eating utensils in our hair... It's not like we put forks in our hair...
pjnjs 2 years ago 38
i totaly agree with you
ilovesteve7 2 years ago 2
@pjnjs There are hair accessories called forks, though. Just like these hair sticks are different than eating chopsticks, so are the forks.

incorrect. insert chopstick at opposite angle and rotate 180 degrees...you can see hers falling out already.

maybe you should make the proper way to do it in the video
