after that first line of storms rolled through at 11 that morning, I got a call from my ex in arkansas saying that more bad shit was moving our way that produced tornadoes there. I told my friend, he called me crazy, and this is what happened!!!
i loved it! i was in school and it nocked a tree down and i watched it fall! it was amazing because i had to walk from the junior high to my house. washington elementry got it baddd!! but it was funny because i hatted the princapal and her car got crushed.
After I got into my car to go to Carrier Mills Nursing Home, trees and powerlines starting falling all around me and I almost got hit. I made it to the nursing home, locking my keys in the car attempting to flee from peices of the roof that were flying off. The nursing home had no power for 3 days, no water for one day and the phones were out. The old people ate hardees and they didn't have AC or TV, so they were pissed! It was a fun week.
I used to live in Marion, but then I moved to Old 13 between Harrisburg and Carrier Mills. It was May 9th, 2009 and I heard a storm was coming. Not feeling safe in my appartment, I drove to the nursing home where I work at in Carrier Mills. The storm died down, so I went back to my appartment and went to sleep. I had worked a double shift the night before. Suddenly, I hear my neighbors yell, "RUN!! 50 plus winds!" Then the power died, so I jumped into my care and took off to the nursing home.
