  • Do you work with trombones at Truman band camp?

  • @rysk8ter1 sure do

  • is it really better than a standard wah pedal ?? its very dear?? sounds the same as my cry baby that cost 100 bucks!

  • @ganton34kk Considering it has 6 times the frequency ranges, an EQ, and a Q control, which i'm not sure the original pedal has, uhh....yeah, i'd say it's a little different.

  • @SxTHUNDERxG fair enough,i just dont see the difference or hear it for that matter,i bet u i would still get the same wah sound if not better from my crybaby stomp or a ibanez wh10,i think this rack unit is over rated, just my opinion friend :)

  • @ganton34kk well, in defense of the system itself, i'm using a laptop mic. So that's a huge assumption to make based on just this video. Unless you've tried it out yourself, there's no way to do any cross-comparison against anything else. This is just supposed to be a starting point for anyone really interested in buying it. The majority of the testing needs to be done on your own

  • @SxTHUNDERxG i have tried one,ok dude just my opinion was all, rock on ,, btw great playing in your other videos

  • Was that a Nightmare to Remeber by Dream Theater at around 8:10?

  • @CollinGuitarStuff yessir

  • do you have to plug the guitar into the expression pedal and then to the amp or does it just go to the amp directly?

  • @dimezakkrandykirk the guitar is plugged into the rack unit, which is part of the signal chain. The pedal itself is also plugged into the rack unit

  • @SxTHUNDERxG ah, ok. thanks. i have the kirk hammett crybaby right now. it's really smooth sounding but doesn't get quite as wah-y as i would like.

  • does the foot controller need power/battery to work?

    very nice by the way

  • @andyfoes i believe it will take a battery, but i usually just have it plugged in to my power conditioner

  • @andyfoes No, it doesn't need a battery for the wah function. Battery is for the LED.

Late answer, but others may have the same question.

  • Gibson SG with whaha? Strange

  • @Art4artists noooo way man! the humbuckers give it a thick sound to phase and really gives the effect some extra life. It's become such a huge component of my sound! give it shot sometime if you get a chance.

  • oyee tu ampli tiene luces de circo integrada wiii xDD

  • hey, can you do metallica's wherever i may roam solo ????

  • what's the that you are using?

can you play civil war solo, from guns n'roses?

  • Do not know much about it but seems a great piece of equipment!

Could it be used as a parametric EQ or something like that? I mean without the actual Wah-Wah effect ?? Only processing the frequencies and shape the sound?

  • @digitaldman Sorry for the late reply. No, unfortunately, the EQ only works when the wah is engaged. Bummer, i know, now i have to find some way to scrape enough money together for an EQ unit, haha

  • this is so cool, because it so uncommon and pointless unless you're pro and recording. I'd buy one if I were in to wah wahs more

  • @Doomzdayxx haha, yes, you are completely correct, it is 100% pointless and had some financial things not fallen into place, i'd never have bought one. BUT. things worked out [for once]. And yeah its a fun toy to screw around with when you know no one else around has one. hehe. thanks for watching!

  • @SxTHUNDERxG Just putting something in your rack is cool, doesn't even matter what it is lol

  • can you do a demo of a kirk hammett setting?

  • @ramarazzz i'm living at school so all my equipment is at home, but if you can send me a message with what those settings might be, or at least some idea [because i have no idea] then yeah i'll do my best to get something filmed sometime soon

  • When you are demonstrating the wah range setting, when you were on the lower settings it sounds like the volume completely cuts out until you begin to move the pedal up, is there really no volume? Or did the mic not pick up the sound due to the low frequency sound?

  • @cable0327 good qestion. Although there is less volume at the low frequency when the heel is down, i attribute most of what you hear on the video to the camera. Keep in mind that i could've adjusted the EQ controls to bring out the low end and that probably would've filled in that void, but i just didn't have the time to go that in-depth

    thanks for watching!

  • Thanks for doing this. I can't find anything on this other than whats on dealer sites.
