Didn't want to watch video on my crappy cell. What is it this man speaks of? I really don't listen to any so-called experts, especially if they appear on the mainstream media. Does he talk about propaganda, disinformation, indoctrination through shcool textebooks, movies, etc? Does he say anything about men like Joseph Goebbels and Edward Bernays who clearly mind jobs?

I was a full time moonie for 6 months and not yet fully indoctrinated but left to please my family. For the next 9 yrs I still believed Moon was the messiah. This was before the advent of the internet. One day when I was surfing the net for the first time in 1998, I typed in unification church and it reported that his son Hyo Jin Moon was a drug addict, wife beater, womaniser etc. We were taught his children were perfect. No idea what that is, and don't need to know. This guy is focusing on people who have actual families that care about them, trying to get them OUT of outside cult or group. What happens when you have to escape your entire family? Do you have any idea how difficult that is? Many Amish used to face this as well, although I heard they have softened the whole shunning thing in the Amish community now. But Every group had cult offshoots, including upperclass people and intellectuals.

@machwon I feel that with computers and the internet growing we are entering a time of enlightenment an knowledge (i hope) and as we do the inner workings of things like cults and the government will be understood more and tolerated less. I also feel that our society has been controlled by religion for so long that something apocalyptic will happen when theyre further exposed and you my friend are a pioneer in that revolution!

I think you doing a great thing by saving these people however i also feel that our brains work in strange ways in which we may never fully understand, so why fight nature? rather than save the people why not use the methods to start your own cult? a cult that offers you a better life? is that not the ultimate goal in the end anyways?

That was well worth the 1 1/2hrs of my time to watch the video. While the cult I was in wasn't completely destructive, it had powerful mind control techniques. I have recently gotten out of Mormonism and I feel bad for my family and loved ones taht remain. Hopefully some day they can wake up.
