& they are working on a V8 for the flag ship sedan the Legend or " RL " to compete with other Japanese luxury vehicles

@krinko187 The Honda HSV-10GT is currently racing in the super GT with a 3.4l v8, according to FLD and some other sources that Honda will resume the road going NSX replacement. But they've haven't released any info for the time being. Even though it's been a long wait, it's good to know it's not dead. Let's hope they will compete against the LFA's performance not the sticker price.

nascar is nice to watch but making constant adjustment to speed and your turning radius while going the same speed of a nascar behicle takes allot more skill...Im no driver but it makes reasonable sense. Plus... left and a left...oh shit a left...oh boy another left...isnt as fun as a left and a right...then a right n left n right.......right? ;P

There's no VTEC in this engine, it's Honda race engine from Nippon Formula, but de-moded to Super GT.

No it's NOT. V-TEC is invited to improve standard street car performance. V-TEC is useless in racing, specially in Formula 1. It's invited in 1983 in Honda motorbike, after that in normal Honda cars started in 1989 until today.

The sound is not everyones - as every human like other thinks so the amis like more the deep sound of nascars and big block-

but yeah for me the high reving roar sound of that car or formula 1 is like an orgasm^^

but you have to think about that this is an race car so you can use no engine filters no filters in the exhaust and many ohter thinks ( i am not an mechanic) that make that car sound that great that it is.
