the manga is really good, i love to see them in their 20's (23 to be exact) and they mature a lot, Yano is the one who matures the most, he had a lot of difficult times, Take ends up being a great friend (I didn't like him in the anime because it seemed like he wanted Nana for himself but I liked him a lot in the last vols of the manga, Nana also matures and tries to support Yano....I love this story!! and YanoxNana is my favorite couple, true romance! the anime was awesome too!

this anime is awesome but every time i watch it again i always skip the last few episodes. I just can't go any further than 22 it made me cry. But opinion-wise i don't think the anime is sad throughout, more like, "wow that could happen to me, interesting" kind. The only anime that i can actually call sad is Clannad. For example: Seitokai Yakuindomo is my very first slice of life anime and i still didn't get the plot at all after watching couple episodes. i prefer something more... realistic i guess?

Bokura Ga Ita follows the relationship of the main characters from the moment they first met, as they start going out, and the complications they face. It's along the lines of more realistic animes like NANA or Honey & Clover. It's a bit soap opera-ish, tho. Just wanted to let you know it's not like that series you watched, sliceoflife comes in many forms.

This anime is wonderfull, As the fact its so realistic in its storyline... I mean, Alot of animes seem realistic but if you think about it, I found myself saying 'Who in their right mind whould do something lika that' to some of the animes i watched, and in real life they whouldent have done that.

Bokura ga ita is very realistic in the sence that they whould, and do do what they do in tha anime...
