At least Obama wants to include some good for the middle class & poor. I don't believe his intention is mainly with huge handouts. G.W. and his cronies made the rich only richer. Deregulation, bad policies, an unwarranted war, and poor leadership have resulted in the mess we're in now. No, Bush didn't do it all on his own, but he sure helped, and didn't do anything! No president is perfect, and Obama will make some mistakes too, but nothing as disastrous as G.W.

I do research through books and the internet. I read which most people don't. When I say something you can debate me by a referenced link. I know what you mean. The more I learn about it, I feel Obama is doing a great job seriously. I loved that he speaked natural the other night and said, "I get it! I really do!" He has a lot of good ideas the more that I hear about his plans. He's different than these other greedy politicians. I really mean that and I didn't vote for him because I didn't really know a lot about him. I did read his first book and he can relate to us. He studied hard and worked hard.

My take on this stimulus package is that its a boost and nothing more. You cannot rely on this kinda money till the very end or else its a failure. I feel if CAPITAL is gained off some of this money, then this package served a purpose. Otherwise, its futile and will make the rich more poor.

It's actually money that is borrowed from the Federal Reserve Bank with interest. So, it wil make the extreme wealthy more wealthier and have greater power on us. It's money that isn't there. It's like Monopoly money.

Where does the government keep getting the money? They keep telling us they're broke. Joe Biden says we need to be more patriotic and pay extra taxes, that being because the government doesn't have the money. They managed to raise congressional salaries by $4600 a year and provide a stimulus program though.

Not bad for a government that is broke. They were against the Bush tax cuts becaues that depletes government money and this happens.
