  • That is nothing short of amazing!

  • I would be interested if you made a version for car use. It sounds fucking awesome, and that sound would mate nicely with the NTC3 I have.

  • hey did you acually make this!?!, or did you buy it?, if you did where did you buy it?

  • in the minute 1:52 i can see the sparks from the power lines (red wire) that's is the why the motor spits

  • in the minute 1:52 i can see the sparks from the power lines (red wire) that's is the way the motor spits

  • in the minute 1:52 i can see the sparks from the power lines (red wire)

  • how much is that in america?

  • where can i find that?

  • I am interested in purchasing the engine.

  • wow

  • do you have a blue print for it?

  • wow a mini torque monster. wonder how many in.lbs it can produce. awesome creation

  • .... not much, a single cylinder would be better for torque but not rpm

  • I remember back in the day you could get plans for small v8's etc for the RC hobbies. Often wondered if anyone was still messing around with them :)

  • is that compressed air or gasoline powered

  • if i had £1500, id buy it

  • That's a lovely sounding little thing.

  • UP FOR SALE £1500

  • im interested!

  • @stoni38 HI IS THE V8 ENGINE STILL FOR SALE? IF SO HOW MUCH BOB RYAN IN THE USA

  • smooth running!

  • Sweet work. I wonder if we could teach squirrels how to drive.

  • Still think that would go nicely on me arrow ^^

  • man I love this engine, but I cannot understand how it is 1:12 scale but yet still is big. I have a 1:12th scale RC truck and there is no way that this would fit under the hood. lol how do you measure the scale?

  • Well the motor is only about 4 inches long & the Cirrus range were early aircraft engines which were often 50 inches or more total length. Never designed to fit trucks or cars

  • ok cool, I just thought of a 1/12th scale v8 and thought of like a small truck or car. I didnt know what a Cirrus engine was to begin with so that probably through me off. (the prop should have clicked in my head but it didnt. lol) I imagine that those engines are alot larger than a standard small block v8.

sweet motor, i can see a lot of time went into it.

    it looks great.

  • Nice to see again. Is that realy what Deadly`s garage used to look like ^ ^

Still think he should put that engine is his magnum, can only be better than that dinosaur rossie ; )

  • Oh thats rich Richard! The Rossi is quality. Better than any old ASP/SC or whatever! Nah its my garage anyway, you dont think he could of run this succesfully on his own do you!!Ha Ha

  • Rossi's RULE!

  • what a crappy carb setup make a manifold and one big carb that should give you throttle

  • is this at wot? never the less its awesome

  • wicked cool engine, but its more like 1:8th scale looking

  • yeah thats if its one cylinder buddy

  • awsome were did u buy it at

  • wer do u buy these engines?

  • hey is it just me or at about 1:52 does it look like the wires are sparking or something?

  • Its just the low resolution video & oil on the leads makes them look like they are sparking. Its a glow plug engine so once its running & warm there is no power in the leads. I know cos its me running the engine & filming.

  • fair enough that would make more sense than the wires sparking.

i have 4 nitro rc cars myself an 6 electric

i know how essentially its just a mini diesel engine.

Is there any real need for a torquey V8?

  • No there isn't any need at all for a v8. Thgis one is only 4cc total capacity for all 8 cylinders & doesn't even have a throttle! Its just got 4 venturis & needle valves & the revs pick up as I lean the mixture out.Its really made as an exercise in model engineering & not really for using.A single cylinder 4 cc glow 2 stroke is probably a third the weight & twice the power. Just doesn't have the wow factor that a v8 has!

  • very cool, but I bet it's a tempermental little bastard..

  • what kind of fuel does that use? and who makes those kind of engines?

  • Is engines like that findable on ebay ? What are the tags to write ?

  • Decent piece suitable for effort to build scaled muscle car. Wonder if I can dress heads for liquid cool. Very nice

  • ther is a liquid cooled version i think

  • lets put twin turbo, nitrous, msd ignition, pure nitromethane,120 psi of gas and put it on the dino

  • Cute engine

  • Fuck off and die.

  • where i can buy a v8 engine?? i'm from greece and none of the hobby shops have v8

  • I'm pretty sure these guys make them themselves.

  • please send me the web site to order 1 thanks

  • Is this glow engine 2 cycles?

  • it sounds like it's going to 10000 rpm

  • i honestly wouldent doubt it... yo dont really have to worry about valve float when the valves open half a millimeter :/

  • THAT RULLZ!!!

  • hi brothers

anyone help me where to buy this kind of v8 engines , on the net or from a store , dealers anywhere in the world

    thanks in advanced

  • Generally these are home built from scratch. The onle place i know that makes and sells them is conley precision. And theirs are 1/4 scale. And they cost more than alot of full size cars.

  • wow very cool!

  • I sent you a message stoni38. I hope you can respond soon.

  • ur engine have some oil leak

  • HOW COOL

I could use one of those in my 1/12 Tamiya Lunchbox :P

where can you buy such a thing?

  • You don't, most are home built from scratch.

  • Wow. - and what a sound.

  • dare i say, its kinda cute? haha that thing is ridiculous!

  • best shit I have seen

  • Sounds like Grand turismo ;D

  • its has the same sound and size as a honda engine

  • Is it all hand crafted or are there 'store-bought' parts in it? Is it a 2-stroke or a 4-stroke? Air cooled I assume.

  • were are you buy this engine?

  • Look at the sparks coming of the ignition wires.

It might run a bit better if you fix the wireing.

Otherwise a realy cool engine, nice job.

  • where can you buy these?

  • how much horse power does this engine have??

  • that sounds grate mate what rpm can it do

  • dude where can i grab one of those

those things look awsome i wnna put it on my nitro rc

  • can i use one of this for a small rc? that would be so awesome

  • wat you cal dat engine? wer can i get one?

  • Well newbornsupra, I think you will have to learn how to spell before you can learn to operate that motor.

  • how the hell do you make that sir??

  • how cool, my dream is to bild one of these...

  • hey nice drill lol

  • did u notice the christmas tree effect with the poorly insulated wiring for the spark plugs???

  • Is this the V8 designed by Eric Whittle? In the plans he says that it is based around the 4 cylinder Cirrus engines.

  • Absolutely insane!!! Excellent job! Did you use any castings or machine it all from bar stock?
