looks good they've captured it ambiances, the original was good and quite sick to watch this version looks to chill things over. when I think of bad remakes, given the caliber of actor,s in them, the edge of darkness, come to mind Mel Gibson was never on the button But worst than that was nickle cages in the wicker man. I,ll reserve judgement on this but it looks good.

I loved the 1st Dragon Tattoo but who could resist a Fincher adaptation? The Film Noir emphasis on pessimism, corruption, loss and nostalgia submerged in his darkly sleek style is simply to good to resist. He was robbed last year at the oscars. Scorsese got one for a remake, maybe Fincher can do likewise with this picture

it does look pretty good (though not a scratch on the oiriginal) the only thing i can't get past is mara she dosn't come across as the agresive vulnerable complex charicter of lisbeth i think fincher has made a huge mistake choosing her

Looks interesting. I did really like the Swedish version and I hope this one does well. I am excited at the fact that Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are doing the soundtrack!

Watch the original Swedish "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" film. You can watch it instantly on Netflix. It was very good. I hope they don't fuck this up like the American remake of "Let The Right One In."

@Girlymurder Totally agree. These remakes are hard to to watch with open minds, especially when you love the originals. Let the right one in had some differences but was acted exactly the same, gestures, dancing and all. Fingers crossed for this one because I like Craigs acting a bunch.
