A good episode, but it dosen't make any sense. There are numerous episodes where Archie gambles, and Edith has no problem with it. One where he makes a bet on a pool game with Irene, another he talks how he won a buck off Stretch about a 301 bowling game, an episode where he and Munson have a chug-a-lug contest for half a buck, yet another where he buys a big steak with winnings off a Mets game, betting Mike about a perfect game. The list goes on, a good episode but a very incongruous one.

@ertznay I think it was because he was gambeling at a track. Lol My dad was a addictive gambler for 30 yrs, the track is a bit different then gambeling on a pool game u got control of. lol

@Jiballin An interesting argument, but gambling is gambling. If you are addicted to it, you need to quit all forms of it, not just some. Besides, in part three Edith reads the last part of Archie's apology. "I swear to god I will never gamble again."

I don't know how Archie and Edith ever agreed on having the piano and the TV in the same room. My parents never argued as much as A&E, but the TV was always by the dinner table, and the piano was downstairs...
