The reason why Kane had masked off in 2003 was for I believe the evolution of his character, but it helped him a lot in his political ventures. He did say in an interview back in like 05 -07 how the mask off helped open a lot of doors with him talking about Libertarian-ism and such. The only way i could see Kane with that mask on forever if he was a luchador. Look up Gleen Jacobs and Libertarian-ism....

Personally kane was my favorite wrestler back in 03,04 when he had his mask, i think hes been un-masked for to long, so now its not as exciting for him to be re-masked

i was a little kid when the attitude era was around. i'm 18 now. so i know about kane and the mask. i used to have pictures and toys of him. but i'm a john cena fan. he was a breath of fresh air when he came to the wwe and i really don't know why most of the grown ups don't like him

This really is the worst WWE crowd I've ever seen,, I thought it was pretty awful before Kane returned and then when he did he got Santino level pops. @jayubig I don't think they were "dead" because they were all standing. I think they were silent because they were like in awe. They knew something bigger was about to happen/him revealing his mask, which got a decent reaction. Plus WWE plays the music very loud at arenas. Plus most new fans dont know just how big Kane was back in the masked days. He was only monstrous unmasked towards the beginning
