  • Also Myottaname - the "grown-ups" VOTED. And YOU lost, and will continue to do so. Original Intent is back and here to stay. You have finally run out of other peoples' money. The days of catering and glorifying parasites have ended. I suggest you crawl back into your hole and pop your meds while your union can still pay for the prescription.

  • Myottaname doesn't know how to read a 10K. If he did the douche would know that for 2010 GE - USA had over $400MM in loss. (1)Hint - you pay taxes on gains. (2)Warren said he paid a lower RATE. That lower rate had him pay more than $7MM. (3)My question is: Why does Warren's secretary only make $60K? Hmmmmm? I'd go on but what would be the point? Also, Brainiac, if it's not about the money - then EXPLAIN Indiana?

  • @USAGymnast

Earned? You act as if the fat cats on Wall Street did good and honest work to earn their fortunes.

  • Wow! A lot of trolls and sheep here. Anyone who thinks this movement is about MONEY, has NO CLUE what's going on. Uh, yeah...the unions are paying people post in favor of them there. Uh, yeah, most of the protestors in the Capitol have been bused in. Uh, yeah...it's people mad they lost an election and aren't getting their way. Riiiight. Keep telling yourselves that. It's okay. Keep falling for all the lies. Go play now, the grown ups are talking and will take care of everything.

  • Looks like there is not much respect for election results.. I love to see the parasites all worked up. LMAO

  • WALKER FOR PRESIDENT 2012

  • The big company in town was the only 1 with a union, but when they went to a 5-day work week, other companies in town felt they had to follow suit.

Then when they went to an 8- hr work day, other companies in town felt they had to follow suit.

    and on & on...

  • I bet if you asked the protesters about the details of what is going on, they wouldn't have a clue. You would probably just hear a bunch of Michael Moore talking points. LOL.

  • The top few own more than the bottom half -- but remember! It's the unions who are greedy, not the wealthy.

  • gov, walker win- george soros and michael fatass moore FAIL

  • these union lackys are useless, the best and most dedicated teachers are fired first under union rules , while the lazy and corrupt teachers get to keep their jobs-- to hell with the corrupt unions

  • Maybe the bus driver that makes $150k a year in Madison promised them all free pizza if they show up

  • these union people suck. damaging the capitol building. sneaking in windows, threats to politicians. pay your share losers. my tax rate is not negotiable so your attempt to negotiate my tax dollar is unacceptable. haha busted down.

  • Roughly 13% of all employees are unionized. Ever notice that it is only the jobs that a monkey could do that involve unions? Engineers, Scientists, Software Development, (i.e. anything that requires a higher than average I.Q.) have no involvement with unions. On the other hand Teachers, Actors, Service Industry, Assembly Line, Professional Athletes, all fields anyone could walk in off the street and do in a week.

  • The entitlement mentality is coming to an end--whether by consent or by lack of funds. Socialists just don't know what to do when they run out of other people's money.

  • Don't spray them with CS gas but with deadly nerve gas and then feed them to the fish.

  • I'm willing to bet that all the people speaking against this protest have never stood up for a single thing in their lives, they're just Fox News watching, zombie followers of a broken down system. It's all quite cute that they still believe in a democracy where voting gives you the kind of power to change your government. However, it's time to wake up, look around you and realize when voting, writing letters, and signing petitions isn't working, it's time to PROTEST!

  • @MrHumanBeingHuman maybe you should cry to your fleebagger democratic coward lawmakers who have been hiding out for weeks on the taxpayers dime

  • @100crawma Silly Republican. Who's crying? Who's democrat? I don't even live in the states anymore. However, it is interesting to me to see people rise up and do something for what they want. And, as far as what lawmakers do on the taxpayers dime, you'd have to be completely blind not to see that the republicans do it too. You just keep fighting your two party fight, but know that reps. and dems. are one and the same.

  • 3/9/11 >> NEVER FORGET!

  • Are you kidding me? Not only am I not paid to post this "anti-union" statement but I am disgusted by you and your kind. As far as I'm concerned you should spend a little more time working in a job that brings money into the economy and less time storming your state capitol like a damn lunatic.

  • Pretty sure no windows were broken. Fox News was saying that windows were smashed but I was there last night and today and I can tell you saw no broken window glass.

We did have to crawl in windows before we could unlock doors but no glass was broken anywhere that I saw.

And you know damn well those scummos at Fox News would have showed any broken window they could find.

  • Stay strong Wisconsin - they are trying to destroy he middle-class.

  • No one in the public sector should have collective bargaining rights, since the taxpayers aren't at the table bargaining. Simple as that.

  • "Fellow workers" IE: Communist jargon.

  • Since when is civilian display of an "active" democracy considered commie?

    Complacency = Stagnation = Retardation = Republican

WI Republican State Senate = Darwin's waiting room.

  • Since when is civilian display of an "active" democracy considered commie?

    Complacency = Stagnation = Retardation = Republican.

  • Fuck the union bashing goons here and fuck the union bashing goons in Madison. The time for symbolic protest is over. Support a general strike.

  • @cyberbock Those fat overpaid teachers should strike - forever.

  • Fellow workers, don't argue with these people, they are paid to put these anti-union comments on these web sites. Nobody in his or her right mind would be against American workers...These people are either severely brainwashed or are being paid to put anti-union comments on this site.

  • @bonanzaking1 Oh fuck off...no one pays me to make anti-parasite comments. Can you imagine if I stormed Congress demanding money for my business?? No, because unlike you, you piece of filth, I have to EARN MY FUCKING MONEY..These people just demand money from the government trough like PIGS. Well, the trough is running low because the MAKERS of society are cutting off the TAKERS. Kill yourself and save a good person money.

  • @bonanzaking1 I suppose the unions aren't paying for the buses, gas, food, and time all 200-300 protesters are putting in going from state to state in a fit of self-preservation. No anti-union individual is against American workers but is against corruption in the employment process. Taxpayers have had it with public sector unionized employees receiving compensation packages that far outpace the same jobs in the private sector all on taxpayer dollars. BTW I wasn't paid a dime to say this.

  • @bonanzaking1 What kind of paranoid meth-head thinks people are paid to comment on these videos?

  • @bonanzaking1 No one is paying me. Not like these union thugs!

  • @bonanzaking1 There is a difference between American workers and Union workers. I'd love to get more money than others because I have a group of people to bully the people I work for. lol Unions are a joke for people who think they should get paid more than others who do the same job, not to mention unions raise the cost of living in every area they are in (Good example is cali and NJ).

  • @bonanzaking1 'Please let us continue to take our employers to taks regardless of productivity, performance review (performance review to a union member is like throwing holy water on a vampire) or LACK of desire to update my lame performance against new ideas. <<That is the attitude of your educators tenured over ten years plus. Yet the jackass unions will term a new comer in lieu of the old schoolers, WHY? Percentage of PAY DUES!! Tenured maximizes DUES. God help our kids.. 26th in the World!

  • @bonanzaking1

    Your an idiot.

  • They need to shoot them for B&E

  • @1ratdaddy Gee , this sounds just like Pelosi and Health Care . What goes a rounds comes a round . Shoes on the other foot and ya'll can't stand it . BUST the PEU and let them FUND their own Union . Taxpayers have family's also to care for . And your Fat way over paid Union Bosses and Whips can take a long walk off a short pier !!!

  • Lazy union thug Democrats. Typical...

  • 'Winning' does not mean the rest of the American People haven't any rights. We, as citizens, all have the benefits, and protection, of our founding principles.

  • The union workers can afford to contribute more toward their own benefits, just like the rest of us. We , in my house, work JUST as HARD as any of these protesters and no one is paying toward OUR benefits and retirement but US. All I see here is the big GIMME GIMME GIMME

  • Stand Firm and with all possible resolve KEEP IT NON VIOLENT. THE US IS WITH YOU

  • Good lord, Liberals are off their rocker. Crazy I tell ya.

  • @honorbound365 100k really? woot think about it 100k commie progressives sent to hell by "we the people" it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside

  • @honorbound365

The Democrats pulled a procedural stunt to try and block this from passing and now you say the Republicans "lie and cheat" when they use procedural rules to get it passed. Fair is fair. Shame on these "protesters"

The people voted for this last November! Congratulations to Gov. Walker and the Republicans in WI for getting some sanity and actual steps toward fiscal responsibility moving forward.

  • To quote the Community Organizer In Chief, "WE WON!"

  • Duh, winning! Bu-bye Public Unions!

  • @honorbound365

You are 100% delusional and blissfully gnorant. They Republican did not lie, cheat or change the laws. The process they employed is consistent with legislative practices, and they knew they had the option from the get go. If anything Walker and the Republicans bent over backward to give the Democrat Senators the option to come back at any time and participate in the process even offering concessions to encourage them to return.

  • American people finally standing up for their rights! And hard to believe the anti-protest comments on here but then again what's one to expect from uneducated little turd face people!

  • @wayneaunderwood In what world is collective bargaining for federal workers a "right"? & BTW, how does it feel to have been completely outmaneuvered and beaten by uneducated turd faced people? It makes me question where you rank in comparison.

  • @loetzfan

In the USA. I see you missed all the various civil rights struggles of the people of this country. Odd considering what a huge part they play in a democracy.

Outmaneuvered... That's exactly the problem. Republicans are playing a game with our lives and trying to find any way they can to win. Problem is the team they play for is the transnational corporations. They are supposed to represent the people in a democracy. Maybe you missed that lesson too.

    Why do you hate America?

  • @mrsalansmithee Can you please show me where state workers collective bargaining is a part of the constitution, Mr got your ass kicked by a bunch of uneducated turd faced people? It's a good thing Democrats don't play games like, I don't know. Running away like the cowards they are to other states and threatening Republicans with death.

  • @mrsalansmithee FDR was against public emplyee unions. Why did he hate America?

  • @mrsalansmithee Good question!

  • @mrsalansmithee The Fleeing Fourteen attempted to play a game with our Democracy by choosing to not be a part of it. The union and politicians have been playing a game with the public union, at the taxpayers expense, for years. Americans no longer support the unholy union of the union boss sitting across the table "negotiating" with our tax dollars for their political game/gain. They make unsustainable promises and union members pay for that "privilege", whereas they now have a ponzi scheme.

  • @wayneaunderwood

Yeah, because calling everybody a turd face shows you are really smart. Keep digging, you haven't hit rock bottom yet!

  • What a bucnh of jack wagons.

  • These clowns aren't doing their cause any good.

Elections have consequences so if you don't like a policy vote the opposition out

instead of acting like a mindless mob.

  • iT'S ABOUT TIME! FUCK THESE CORRUPT UNIONS! Now will the dems come back to cry? They need to be fired as soon as they cross state lines too!

  • God damned animals with no respect for the rules.

  • @goingalt no respect for the rules? what do you call giving 2 hour notice that you're voting on a bill when the *rules* say you need to give at least 24 hour notice? hmmm...

  • @kraekay If you knew anything about the rules of the senate in WI, that is allowable when the legislature is in session. You may not like the rule, but that is the rule. And any senator can request a vote for the changing of senate rules. Sorry, but that is not the issue. Breaking windows, and trying to get past law enforcement is breaking the law. Tit-for-tat is for school children so grow up, and start telling people to act like adults and not unruly children.

  • I believe all workers should go on strike during next week, to show solidarity for the teachers of Wisconsin. I will be taking the week off.

  • @amitbarfs I say all Taxpayers stop paying taxes we will call it a Taxpayers Union 200 million strong .....ehhh if that dont work call in the National Guard and start shooting the treasonous commie progressive insurgents ...take the week off LOLOLOLOL as if your welfare ass had a job

  • @Hellpig

All working families should go on a national strike next week to show solidarity for the teachers of Wisconsin and elsewhere.

I myself will be taking a week off and stand to lose almost $1k.

  • @amitbarfs LMAO so delusional you actually believe you have a job to take a week off from......LMAO

BTW the "working families" are in support of America's hero Gov Walker not you commie fucks

  • @Hellpig

By all major polling, most working families in America oppose restrictions on the right to collectively bargain for higher wages and more benefits.

All working families that enjoy the capitalist system must strike next week. I say this as a Republican.

  • @amitbarfs And you would deserve to get your ass fired.

  • @mcv47

If I get fired so be it. I am planning on moving to California soon anyway and I will be in the poorhouse but I will be getting unemployment bennies.

  • @amitbarfs What's going to happen when CA runs out of money? Oh...wait. Isn't it time to grow up and take some personal responsibility instead of feeding at the public trough?

  • @mcv47

When CA runs out of money they will do what other states are doing: getting rid of collective bargaining. They're not gonna get rid of unemployment bennies. For every slacker like me there are several suckers who are still looking for jobs that really aren't there. The state won't turn its back on them.

  • @mcv47 Corporations are people ... right? Where is their responsibility for the deep recession we fell into at the end of the last 8 year administration? Only the workers, the disabled, the poor ... have to pay the dues? P.S. Union workers are tax-paying Americans too! It is not the taxes so much that are the problem, but what they are being spent on. If we have good education, effective police and fire personel, nice hospitals, smooth roads, clean air and water, etc., etc., we all benefit.

  • Your idiot dem senate leaders ran and hid. Then you are mad that the Reps realize that "Oh we don't need these useless turds anyway, motion passed."

  • Joe Clark lives! Hey Public Union's! - Ain't it a Bit@h when you run out of other peoples' money?

  • Joe Clark lives!

  • Liberals/commies... they LOSE, I repeat L-O-S-E an election and respond with a childish temper-tantrum. Thank God the ADULTS are in charge! Oh yeah, did I mention that they LOST the election because they had a MINORITY of votes? That means that they did not have enough votes to WIN...which is a lot like LOSING.

  • It's a lie that windows were broken, she retracted it.

  • whatever happened to the new civility?

    /confused/

  • @tkeicon The new civility is for tthe Tea Party because, as you know, they are so violent and destructive. :)

  • remember, don't feed the trolls.

  • States have used decent pension packages to compensate for average wages when attracting teachers for hire, and now it seems Wisconsin teachers will sacrifice more of their income due to the passing of this bill. This move by the Republican State Senate seemed almost Karl Rove inspired. However, it will fan the flames to recall Governor Walker an endeavor underway with an estimated 120,000 signatures to date moving toward 500,000+ signatures required in 2012. Savor your victory Mr. Walker.

  • @NOWcarpediem I would have loved to be making what a WI teacher makes. My salary as an Ohio teacher was nowhere near that.

  • On Wisconsin! I love you guys.

  • Keep it up Peple!! Stay Strong!!

Big Hug and SOLIDARITY from Puerto Rico!!

  • STAY SAFE & STAY PEACEFUL! WE ARE THE BETTER PARTY!

  • @myottaname

No you're not. You are locusts that feed on tax money

  • @seeky907 lol idiot! we are the ones who PAY the tax money! Go away troll! lol

  • @myottaname Off of whose profits genius? Econ 101 dude. You should take it.

  • @nookinponub WTF are you talking about??? Corporations & billionaires dodge their tax duties, and pay less in taxes than someone making $30k a year. Get your facts straight. How the hell did this thread get on TAXES when it started as a comment on PEACEFUL PROTESTS! Learn to read genius!

  • @myottaname The wealthiest one percent pay as a large of a share of the overall tax rate as they ever have. Yes, the nominal tax rate used to be higher, but nobody paid those rates thanks to deductions.

  • @tkwelge That was my point to the other guy. The rate might be higher, but their bottom line is less after all deductions are applied. Even Warren Buffet and Bill Gates...the #1 & #2 richest men in America, have constantly said, look, we can pay more! We all have deductions on our taxes, but the top earners take it to a whole new level. Funny thing is, my original post was "STAY SAFE & STAY PEACEFUL! WE ARE THE BETTER PARTY!" and somehow I am being attacked on tax issues lol Go figure.

  • @myottaname You really should learn to read a 10K. List one listed company that paid less than someone earning 30K. And in case you were unaware, the "protests" are predicated on a "tax" situation known as "running out of other peoples money". The battle is over and the tide has turned. I'm back to work and John Galt lives!

  • @nookinponub lets see, Warren Buffet wants to pay more taxes. He says he pays les sin taxes than his secretary that makes 30k a yr. Wait, you wanted a listed co. GE got $1,100,000,000 rebate. That's 1.1 BILLION REBATE! BoA (-1.9 Billion reabate), Ford Motor (2.3%), HP(18.6%), slighter higher, but in the same area. But wait...you only wanted one listed company. I gave a few before giving up. There are MORE! And oh, this 'situation' going on now... has NOTHING to do with money!

  • @myottaname Yeah - the WI capitol is in lock-down. Way to go rent-a-mob.

  • @mcv47 Duh, Troll! You've been posting so much all over this vid, you dont even know what you are replying to anymore. Your post makes no sense!

  • @myottaname Maybe you need to work on your reading skills.

  • If you don't campaign on busting unions, you don't get to claim the election justifies your actions.

Reports of window breaking are false. No broken class was found.

Oh and WI public employees pay for 100% of their benefits. It was negotiated as part of their total compensation.

Don't you wish you had a strong union to get you similar benefits?

  • @rljacob Uh yeah, and 100% of what those public employees "pay" comes from the taxpayer. What a retarded argument. The fact of the matter is that the overall compensation is high and has room to be cut. If everyone in the economy simply bargained for higher and higher pay, it would be a syndicalist nightmare, and we'd be living hyperinflation. Money is a means to an end, not an end in and of itself. Raising everyone's wages will not create more wealth. It will simply adjust the numbers up.

  • @tkwelge Complaining that their benefits are paid for by the taxpayer is like complaining that their salary is paid by the taxpayer. People who do work for the taxpayer (police, firemen, teachers) need to be paid by the taxpayer.

Bargaining leads to hyperinflation is just what your corporate overlords want you to think. Be happy with what they give you and don't ask questions!

  • @honorbound365 Time to call out the National Guard maybe.

  • @mcv47

I would bet most of them are already out there protesting. Who do you think makes up the National Guard?

  • @mrsalansmithee I doubt it these are commie progressives they hate the military...and soap

  • @honorbound365

I guess you missed the signs that advocated gang-banging female reporters and the Hitler references, eh? Maybe you should try something besides network news.

I'll be interested to see what happens this weekend. If the union thugs go crazy ,it will go a long way toward galvanizing America against unions once and for all.

  • @maltboy59

I hope you are being paid well to sound like such an idiot by being a reich wing keyboard warrior.

None of that happened. You are lying just like Walker and his tools have been. And don't go posting some poorly photoshopped signs or video from some other protest like Faux News did with those palm trees.

  • @mrsalansmithee

Do you have any idea how unhinged you union lackeys look when you deny the existence of Nazi rhetoric, and then turn around and call someone a Reich winger in the very next sentence? Evidently not.

BTW, there are TONS of pictures and videos posted all over the internet showing the hate-filled signs you proudly paraded in Madison. Denial is not a river in Egypt, but it runs in your family.

  • @mrsalansmithee There are many videos and signs confirming the unhinged violence and lunacy of you and your friends.

  • Why is it we’re supposed to accept election results when Dems get elected, but when the GOP gets elected and implements their mandate leftists, unions, the media can’t and won’t accept it and act like petulant little 5 year olds?

  • @mcv47

Show proof they had a mandate to take away collective bargaining rights. Not one of them campaigned on that. And the state was doing just fine until Walker gave away $135-140mn in tax breaks to corporations and the rich. Then he uses the "we're broke" meme to take money away from the working and middle class.

And since when are peaceful protests acting like petulant 5 year olds? Why do you hate America?

  • @mrsalansmithee

Um, Since when is it possible to give away what is not yours in the first place? Walker simply did not take away money from a hard working citizen (s). I think that you need to study economics before you make comments on economic activity

  • @jamesmccoyful You still don't understand. Look at it this way. Say you negotiate salary with your boss, and you have the option to take the full salary now, or defer part of it to be put in a 401(k). If you elect to defer a portion into a 401(k) account, the amount deferred is still *your* pay--you simply deferred the date you will collect it. You've been misled by people who want you to resent teachers, firefighters, nurses, prison guards, etc. who just happen to have public sector jobs.

  • @beulahmo No. - You don't get it! In your little example you CONVENIENTLY left out the part that the Public Union is negotiating against TAX dollars and NOT PROFITS. A slightly inconvenient truth wouldn't you say? Ohhhh, but WE are the ones "misled".

  • @mrsalansmithee Issuing death threats across the state to Republican lawmakers isn't considered a peaceful protest by rational minds.

  • @mrsalansmithee Peaceful protests? OK, if you say so. Compare the yelling and screaming, red faces, nasty signs, the mess left behind, the insults thrown around, the death threats to a Tea Party. The contrast is astounding.

  • @mcv47

  • Solidarity from British Columbia, Canada!!!

  • @EidSeimmoc The broken windows reports were false.

  • Kristallnacht.

  • This is a great day for America, and for honest, hard working Americans everywhere. If we can straighten out our broken public education system, there may still be hope for our country after all. This bill is not anti-education or anti-teacher, it's about removing the stranglehold that public sector unions have on the political process. If the angry, hate-filled mobs in Madison didn't prove that, then nothing will.

Even FDR was against these unions. Why do you suppose that was?

  • Now the leftist will show its true demon skin. People's Properties will be damage (like always). The burning of the American flag(while waiving another flag of a socialist government), the burning of the constitution probably, and probably sacrificing a baby or car. oh oh oh,, and a lot of thievery will be going on.

  • Right on Wisconsin! Punish the m-f..ckers who "passed" this "bill".

    General Strike!!!

  • @claraescher Oh yeah! That will show 'em! lol!

  • Time to tear gas the building

  • @VegasPatriot1 That would require law enforcement's participation, and they are in sympathy with the teachers, which is why the Caitol is overrun in the first place.

  • @Paulsur True. Time to call in the National Guard.

  • @Paulsur I dont think so it sounded like they where overwhelmed

  • I wonder how many of the protesters are actually from Wisconsin and how many are union thugs bused in from New Jersey and God knows where else. But I guess if I was a union thug making $400,000 a year, I would be there as well.

  • MOB RULE

  • where's the new tone? where's the new civility? where's the fucking swat team?

put these dregs down, once and for all.

  • I think there is a quote from the current occupant of the White House that accurately describes the situation in Wisconsin:

    WE WIN.

  • @ripnickus I notice you had no further reply to me. So I guessed correctly, didn't I? You consider special education a waste of taxpayer dollars and special needs children "parasites," don't you? Or are you too ashamed to answer?

  • @beulahmo

Do I consider special needs children parasites? No.

I also do not consider the unborn to be parasites either. Do you? Too ashamed to answer?

  • @ripnickus Pretty presumptuous, aren't you? You think you can simply deflect and avoid answering? No, I don't consider the unborn to be parasites. You still haven't answered my question, coward.

  • @beulahmo I think he replied "Do I consider special needs children parasites? No." It reads like an answer to me.

  • @beulahmo

Apparantly reading comprehension isn't taught in special ed...

    Your ?:

You consider special education a waste of taxpayer dollars and special needs children "parasites," don't you?

    My answer:

Do I consider special needs children parasites? No.

Do I believe in helping the truly helpless in society? Yes

Do I believe that these "peaceful" demonstrators are helpless and deserver my pity? HELL NO. Not only do they not deserve my pity, they only deserve my scorn and derision.

  • @ripnickus My questions were put to you because you made the assumption that my degree would qualify me to teach "multiculturalism and how to make the little kiddies feel better about themselves. Now your ability to teach actual skills that can be used later in life, yes I do question." You were CLEVERLY trying to belittle me as getting a useless degree to do a useless job. Remember? So I wanted to know if you really consider my degree and career goals to be useless. SO WHAT DO YOU SAY??

  • @ripnickus My questions were put to you because you made the assumption that my degree would qualify me to teach "multiculturalism and how to make the little kiddies feel better about themselves. Now your ability to teach actual skills that can be used later in life, yes I do question." You were CLEVERLY trying to belittle me as getting a useless degree to do a useless job. Remember? So I wanted to know if you really consider my degree and career goals to be useless. SO WHAT DO YOU SAY??

  • @ripnickus "Apparantly (sic) reading comprehension..." I asked those questions bc you presumed my degree would qualify me to teach "multiculturalism and how to make the little kiddies feel better about themselves. Now your ability to teach actual skills that can be used later in life, yes I do question." Remember?? You were *CLEVERLY* belittling my "useless" degree preparing me to do a "useless" job. My degree will be in special ed. Is that useless or were you being a presumptuous and mean ass?

  • @ripnickus Progressives and collectivists have the tendency to judge people as groups and apply dehumanizing terms to them.

  • @beulahmo Whether my children are special needs or not, I would send my children to private school (as I already do). I want them to get an education not a waste of time.

  • @Paulsur So if some people can't afford to send their special needs children to "private school" (and I know of VERY FEW that are equipped to deal with the range of disabilities public schools routinely accommodate), your attitude is that they're just out of luck? Of course. That's an "SEP"*.

*SEP is short for "somebody else's problem." That's the default position of people who think "empathy" is a dirty word.

  • @beulahmo Be: you wrote that I did not. I would support everyone's right to send thier children to whatever school they wish through a voucher porogram. Try again.

  • @Paulsur Then you don't know much about special needs students. As far as having control of emotions, generalizing and stereotyping others, etc., you DO realize you're in a kettle-pot situation? Admit you at LEAST have that much self awareness.

  • @beulahmo I think you should work hard too. As a teacher, i think if you work hard you might get paid well, and you might be able to enjoy good benefits that you pay a portion for, just like the rest of us. Oh, and you get yearly reviews and performance/merit increases. The union doesnt guarantee you get a job for life that you can never be fired from as long as you dont commit a violent felony.

  • @Paulsur Sigh. You're misinformed. And even though at least a couple of us pointed out your misunderstandings, you still cling to them. Frankly, I don't care to spend any more energy on clarifying things for you. Union workers are not all slackers, and unions don't all "guarantee you get a job for life ..." etc. Goodness, you were just accusing me of stereotyping. "And why behold you the mote that is in your brother's eye, but consider not the beam that is in your own eye?" -- Matthew 7:3

  • @beulahmo Empathy isnt dirty BTW. It isn't in the constitution either. It's funny how you cllectivits refer to us as redneck, uneducated, racists, etc, but you all seem to be fact deficient, and lack control of your emotions.

  • @beulahmo

No, we just consider public employee unions parasites. This has nothing to do with hard working teachers. If you were smart enough to be one you would understand this.

  • @Paulsur What most of you don't understand is that pensions are funded by your employer as part of your total compensation because you agree to less pay now. Deferred compensation is what is called. We already pay 100% of our pensions with money we would normally have gotten as salary!

  • @nhart608 So what you re saying is that PSE employees n Wisconsin who are already among the highest paid in their filed in the nation, also get a very rich pension plan that is also part of their very high compnesation. So in your estimate the issue is far worse than Governor Walker has laid out?

  • These public union creeps are the worst of humanity. Greedy, stupid, and wicked. But well fed, God bless them.

  • They forget that the police, firefighters, the Guard, the teachers, the nurses and in-home aides, road builders, carpenters, postal workers, street sweepers ... on and on ... ... ... they are all our family members! They forget that we are a nation of, by, and for the people. The people, that's us!!! That is why we are so proud to be American, and so proud to support the workers ... our backbone.

  • @Wolfiemouse Everyone supports them, we only ask why they should get a pension for life after retirement that they never had to contribute one cent for. Who gets that anymore? We have to all learn fiscal responsibility.

  • @Paulsur "...never had to contribute one cent for." Lie. You've swallowed blatant lies. That should make you angry. You've been duped.

  • @Paulsur - "that they never had to contribute one cent for" What??? That retirement money is THEIRS.

They paid into it with every pay check. Instead of begrudging people their hard-earned retirement security, you might rather ask yourself why we all shouldn't all receive the same protection in our golden years.

  • @bgoluboff1 yeah you are right, we should all get 100% funded pensions. Do you think their are enough Chinese in the world to loan Obama the money?

  • @Paulsur - not sure what you mean by 100% funded pensions. There is more than enough money for retirement with dignity, if the oligarchs would pay TAXES like the rest of us, if we'd stop the subsidies to oil co's et al., the heavily padded crony contracts, and if we'd bring the more than trillion dollar wars to an end.

  • @Paulsur

The pensions are paid for by the workers. They took a sizable pay cut in order to get a good pension. Please research before posting. Thank you.

  • @ripnickus Jackass. My major is special education. I have a hunch that you consider special needs children to be a burden that we shouldn't waste taxpayer $ on. GOP and TeaPartiers and Libertarians resent "parasites," I know. Well, too bad. The rest of American society thinks they should be taken care of. I know, I know. "Empathy" is a dirty word to people like you.
