  • The scenery, the horse sculpture and that Diamond T really make that place. It seems quiet as well, which can be nice if you really want to unwind.

  • Looks like a great place. Looks like an expensive place! Love the horse sculpture.

  • Gee, these are some PERFECTLY restored trucks! <3

  • the U.S is a baeutyful country

  • Neat horse...

  • That is quite a drive from Texas, being right on the western edge of Colorado. The trees always look so golden there in the fall. It really seems like a nice quiet and relaxing place. That is the 2nd Diamond T truck I have seen. A guy that use to sell at the flea market had one that he was restoring, and I had not heard of that brand of truck or ever saw one before until his. Those trucks all seem to be restored to pristine condition.

  • @maynardcat I didn't know too much about Diamond T either till I saw one at the junkyard about 8 years ago...I was more familiar with Diamond Reo which was when White Motor Co. merged the Diamond T and Reo divisions which they had acquired into one brand. I still saw a lot of Diamond Reo trucks in use when I was a kid in Ohio in the 80's.

  • like the steam punk horse...awesome

  • @retrochad Man it's nice to see an all original Diamond T. I like those trucks a lot. Unfortunately, I live in the "hot rod" state where people make a mess of cars and trucks that are becoming increasingly rare.

  • @theduke502 I actually went to a junkyard about 8 years ago where there was a Diamond T School bus which had been made into an RV probably back in the 50's or 60's. It was missing the engine but was otherwise intact. I don't know what happened to it as now it looks like the junkyard has been all cleared out.

  • @retrochad Wow, that's too bad. A friend of ours, as far as I know still has his 1928 Diamond T pickup. He fully restored it years ago, and said he used to take it out every now and then for a spin. I mean, this thing didn't even have scuff marks on the white walls, lol! I can only assume he passed it down to his sons. I haven't seen it in ages, but I still have Polaroids of it.

  • That peak sort of reminds me of Devil's Tower in the Close Encounters movie.

  • Very nice place. Although not much activity, or it seems, but that can be good too!

I like those fans, they really do look nice, and nice that they provide them too.

Also gotta love those antique trucks!

  • Gorgeous place. Love those two trucks. You have a nose for finding great venues like that.

  • 7:30 I'll take an eskimo pie and a nutty buddy.

  • Is that on the continental devide? What is the elevation there. I am not sure where Gateway is, anywhere near Estes Park or Aspen?
